    Great ground tents

Hmmmm. I spent a lot of time researching tents when I was wanting to buy. I think the truly best, long life, 4 season tent that money can buy is the Dave Ellis Torrent or one of its variations. About the same price as an OZ tent, but exponentially better for foul weather. It packs much more...

    Great ground tents

I checked out the OZ tents several years ago at the Overland Expo West. I wasn't impressed. Maybe they didn't have it staked properly but the thing was rickety and floppy. And the price! Ho Chi Minh!!! I ended up going with the Spring Bar Outfitter 3. Half the price, much sturdier, MUCH more...

Thank you posting. I love Cabelas gear. We usually make a day of it. Went just a couple of weeks ago. I could spend the whole afternoon in just the Gun Library. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    springbar tent choice

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I believe this was a custom job. I remember seeing on the website his offer to do just about any type of modification. Give him a call and ask. Maybe post the result. I saw his tents at one of the Overland Expos a while back. He makes superb tents.

    Rig w/ boat Pics

Last time I was at Watson Lake there were a bunch of kids that kept "falling" out of their boats. And having a great time doing so. It was apparently ok. It's a really nice place. I hope to get back there this summer and maybe "fall" out of my canoe too. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Repurpose a vintage stove or sell it and buy something else?

Short answer: sell it but don't expect much. It is collectable, but the group is fairly small. Or just set it aside as a shelf display. To use it will require some contortions so it isn't practical.

    Kakadu Bushranger XT

Any chance you could post a video of your setup? I've looked at these trailer tents before. Its doen't seem to be that difficult of a setup.

Worlds tiniest trailer - and it worked great!

That is actually pretty nice. Get a spare. I've seen lots of trailers sitting on the side of the road waiting for a tire to get fixed. Seal the wood up and you can use it for years. The family looks happy. Good job.

    Tacoma DIY bed slide

OUTSTANDING! Way better than what I cooked up. I cut some plywood for a pickup bed cover as I was worried about leaving our camping gear just sitting. Put in some eye bolts and used ratchet straps to the bed tie downs. I used the leftover sections of ply as a "slide". More of a "grunt and drag"...
