I sat in one in the store and almost pulled the tigger, but my buddy said "You know, after a few bud lights one of those legs will let go and dump your *** on the ground:)" Thus I was talked out of it , but they are really pretty sturdy. I bought a similar CGI folder with solid legs
With a sturdy bumper to beat on, you can get by with just a ball peen hammer. I used to mess with sockets and c clamps, until I saw an old timer knock one in and out with just a hammer. As long as you are careful to not crimp the bearings, a hammer is all you need.
Try it with an old joint...
You might want to also check out these threads...if this horse isn't dead yet, i wish someone would pull a highly concealble, yet with terrific take down power, hand gun and waste it:) I think I participated in most of these, but am developing a new POV

Mark, I had heard about the cave closures :( I still know of 2 great beginner caves down there, Bowden which I've mentioned before and Sinks of Gandy. Sinks is awesome, you follow Gandy creek in one side of a mountain spur and come out about a mile away on the other side. It's all pretty...
I have a korean army duffle bag made of heavy duty nylon. I triple bag it with contractor grade garbage bag. I strap it to a tree at camp and then to the tire similar to your set up for transport

I am getting excited for this trip too. I'm thinking about bringing my jeep, I'd like to find someone close, maybe in Thomas, were I could park my truck...

I can't see your pics for some reason but I'm eager to see your build. 2.5 or 4.0?
edit: Okay, I see them now, you are going to love that rack, I have basically the same thing in mine. I couldn't live without it now:)
This guy from gunblaster.com shot 3 people with 3 different weapons and witnessed the shooting of a 4th??? I guess that's possible, but... I'd guess it's more likey that it's advice from some guy with a big imagination, living off his mom's SS check.:snorkel:
flyfisher, I'm not questioning...
I have a hammerless S&W airlite .38. I am very happy with how small and light it is. Point and click operation. It does not have any downside for my use, IMO.
I can put 5 holes in a 9" paper plate from 3 feet away. Anything farther than that I'd be running away anyhow.:)
edit: when asking...
