Jeep last in JD Power survey

I think I'm already above the curve, I keep a simple risk assessment matrix to determine which issues to fix. I just thank God every day that it's not a [insert your brand here]

Buying tires online? which site? Advice needed.

I've had good luck with Summit Racing. I got screwed once by national wheel and tire. Find out who and how they will be shipped before you buy. Some vendors use small shipping companies who are a pain to deal with. National wheel and tire used a company who could not find my house for ~2...

Why do folks say, "Jeeps aren't expedition vehicles?"

So true, I think it drives the FJ guys nuts:iagree:

    Any FSJ's Around ?

I'm a big fan, my brother had 3 when I was little. It's a shame you don't see them offroad anymore. I've got grand wagoneer axles in my YJ.

    Rear tire mount pro's/con's

A 35 is going take up a good bit of visibility. I'm running a 36 centered on my jeep and I can't see much. If you build your own consider offsetting it to one side.

ARB Bumper and accessories for the H3

About 6-7 years ago, my buddy took a picture of a rig tearing through a mudhole. The ARB bumper/sticker was prominently displayed amidst splashing muddy water, it looked like a magazine ad. He sent the photo to ARB and told them to feel free to use it. They declined but sent him a free...

    Post Traumatic Stress Disorder

I told my doctor at my last visit that I thought my job was bad for me b/c I sit at a desk all day and get no activity. My weight is up, blood pressure up. What he told came clear out of left field and totally threw me. Something I never even considered for some reason. He said "find a new...

    Does anybody use a cot?

I also use the cabelas XL. I bought the foam pad that goes with it. It feels pretty close to a single bed. The cabelas cots don't sag much so they are a little stiff without the pad.

Has anybody painted the interior of their hardtop?

Looks great, I did a bumper on my brothers jeep with that stuff and it has held up very well.

    OD Green or Desert Sand??

Try Martin Senor from NAPA. When I was looking, they had it but only in gloss, which I didn't want but it sounds like maybe you do

    Fun with heat....

I don't know what you are using, but I switched to a flexalite reverse rotation mechanical fan and ditched the clutch. I dropped ~10 degrees. The fan and adapter were ~$40. I tested it by holding a sheet of paper in front of the radiator, the flexalite seemed to pull a lot more air.

    My new sleeping bag

A have a marmot hooded (staypuff marshmellow man style) down jacket. It feels like a sleeping bag and is awesome for watching football games but you can't wear it during activity. It is just too warm
