Tried looking these up. No lead to Amazon, thought they had everything!!
Did find them. Holy crap for $225 they should be much better. Cannot imagine spending that much for pants unless you are fabulously wealthy.
It's what I use in my LR and if I saw it I would certainly get it. Never heard of oil expiration date, never noticed one on anything that I have purchased. Now I'm gong out to the shop to check, you have my interest.
window vent
I thought about the fan idea but it seemed better for my situation to get an insert that was louvered and had a screen for bugs. A company in UK has these for the LR and with the moon roof cracked a bit and these inserted into the window they work very well to eliminate heat build up.
Sand ladder mounted under FR rack
I tried to put MaxTrax under the roof rack but the space was too limited so I created mounting under the Front Runner rack for the sand ladders
It is always a good idea to ask. Some allow people to stay but some don't, perhaps they have been taken advantage of and are just not in that frame of mind anymore. I have asked to use a part of a parking lot way in the back of a truck stop before but I slept in my vehicle and did not open...
I think it is mostly lack of education in the proper use of the thing. It can be misused and to that end one should exercise caution. Sometimes they sit so long on a vehicle that proper maintenance is not followed and parts become rusty to the point of not working properly.
Since you are making your own you could make a flat rack with the ability to add sides to make it a basket for travel. There are so many options with a rack you make it bogles the imagination so that yours might be one that inspires others.
I have a '07 LR3 with a Front Runner full length rack...
I keep mine in a fat 50 ammo can, perfect fit and room for the air hose, gloves, safety glasses, spare filter and air gage. Keep the ammo can behind the center console in front of the ARB cooler in my LR. This way I can transport it to any vehicle in need.
When I bought my Tactical 4X bumper it was just a bit more for the swing away tire carrier. I found a spare rim on CL very inexpensive so I put a spare on the swing away. I had intended to install a spare fuel tank in the vehicle spare under-carriage position but found out that the one I wanted...
I was amazed when I was in South Africa that many of the young people were wearing T-shirts with a USA theme or some state logo all over them. Lots of stuff that I would not wear in the US but were very vogue and quite popular for the people living there.
I think it very interesting that...
I have outfitted the LR with a sleeping/storage platform, Front Runner shelves for the back and have louvered screens for the side rear windows from a company in UK. Headroom is an issue but since the rear door does not open from the inside it can be a pain to get up in the night.
Especially...
Haven't been to Europe in a year but when, for all the years I went, I never worried about standing out. Believe me they know you are an American just by your manner and manners. You can't hide, so give it up.
I travel with one bag and everything I carry is quick wash or throw away. I go to the...
Do they make bead lock wheels for LR? Easy to change tires then.
I have used tubes in tubeless tires before but sometimes they stick to the tire, needs powder.
I have 19's and found a spare on CL. I have friends with 18's and they are really not easy to find just one.
Where are you going to put this 6th wheel for your spare spare?
