How was the yellow top being charged before this episode? If the yellow top is not holding a charge from full it may be hosed from not being fully charged each cycle. It can possibly be refreshed but only using the optima charger which does a full charge at the proper voltage. Which by the way...

There is a propane burner attached to the bottom of the Skottle. Most use the green bottles, but I plan on adapting to a 5lb tank.

The Large are pretty much unobtainium new -- I've never heard of a used one coming up,as I've been looking. I have the medium, but longed for the large... So when it came up, I jumped on it.
