I have the InReach plan with unlimited tracking points and messages and it runs me 25 per month. We do a trip or two each month, so for me, having the ability to have automated tracking, text with family and the venerable SOS button available, I think it's hard to beat the InReach.

I've had the shadow Awn on my 100 since April and have been on trails through Maine, NH, VT and Colorado. No issues. The cover seems up to job of taking pinstripes and no snags to mention.
Where did you find the adapter? I've seen a couple that look like they'll work but then are off in some way. Most of the ones I have see are for refilling the green 1 pounders from a 20 point tank. A link would highly desired!
The GFCI will likely not work correctly because a vehicle doesn't have a real ground. Even with a generator, we had to switch to arc-fault interrupters on some work vehicles because of this.

Not yet, but I've not pressed in earnest yet. Been traveling and enjoying my kit! After a trip out west and back though, I am going to start on it... Needs more protection in the back of my rig.
I have a yellow top AGM and with a full load of groceries and moderate ambient in the truck, I can *just* make 24 hrs... And that battery is 85Ah. Can't see how you'd make it with only 18 Ah.
This past weekend I camped for4 days and with 130watt of solar charging the battery during the day in...
