    Great write up Rover....I love that part of the country. So cool how the spring rains make those plants come alive. In the mid 80's I was on a trip out there and somewhere in that area (the Pawnee Grasslands) the USDA has a soil test area/machine. Its is a "plug" (for lack of a better word)...
