2022 Toyota Tundra - Who here has put it through the ringer?

I wouldn't/didn't buy one. The 22 is having issues and the gas mileage doesn't seem very good in real world conditions. TFL was pulling 14mpg towing a small tear drop on stock tires....that's not good at all and indicates to me that mods will really impact this truck. As you mentioned the...

    2021 Titan XD Pro-4X

Got the truck back from Line-X. Looks so much better than the OEM and they even did a little extra coverage all covered under the Nissan Bumper to Bumper Warranty. I can't believe there was zero prep on the bed prior to the OEM being sprayed but if that's the biggest defect I experience I'll be...

OVRLND CAMPERS ONLY : Post your OVRLND Camper build here or a link to your build thread to inspire others!

I'm still a few weeks out from picking mine up. Won't be figuring out my layout until it's in hand but some thoughts are access to dry kitchen goods, small AC unit (if I have shore power), act as a vent/window when down below or top isn't popped, and lastly attach commonly needed items to the...

OVRLND CAMPERS ONLY : Post your OVRLND Camper build here or a link to your build thread to inspire others!

The frame is the same fan or no fan (I asked). So the fan should just be cut a hole and wire. On the hatches. I went back and forth too. Ultimately I decided it would be a pain to add in the future so I did one on the passenger side (fold up). Figure it will be a versatile addition but I don't...

    2021 Titan XD Pro-4X

It's at line x getting the factory bedliner removed and then resprayed under warranty. The factory liner started peeling and cracking. Looked like defective material as well as the liner was sprayed over glossy paint on the bed... I'll snap some overall pics once it's back!

I'm doing a diy fan install. I want to spend some time with it before deciding a location, wiring etc.

Thoughts one two of these for a mattress? https://loungieliving.com/collections/flip-recliner/products/relaxie-flip-chair-linen Seems like it would provide a nice way to sit up up top and could also be used downstairs as a chair.

Hybrid or Gas for full-time camper? MPG guesses?

My logic is that the 5.7 Tundra gets bad gas mileage unloaded and only slightly worse loaded. There are lots of anecdotes of folks with the 5.7 Tundra adding a go fast or similar camper and only loosing 1-2mpg. My dads 2018 Limited drops from about 17mpg to 11mpg towing a large enclosed utility...

    2021 Titan XD Pro-4X

Suspension has been on since the weekend after I received it. Sure was a treat working on a basically new truck! Overall the install is quite easy but the UCA bolts were a slight pain to get back in. Ride is fantastic. Improved over the factory Bilsteins I'm every way. Netted about 2.5" in the...

Hybrid or Gas for full-time camper? MPG guesses?

Back on topic. Gas. 11mpg. Choose a different platform.

    2021 Titan XD Build

Welcome fellow Toyota convert. It's quiet over here but it leaves more time to rag on 3rd gen Tundra owners ;) Did you stick with the OEM tire size? I've been considering 20s so I can get the tire size I want but hate to lose even a little sidewall.

Time for a New Truck--MPG is a Priority

They're solid, relatively simple, comfortable, affordable, and have a 5 year 100k mile bumper to bumper warranty.

Time for a New Truck--MPG is a Priority

Titan gets solid hwy mpg with the 9spd. Mine pulls 20mpg on the interstate with stock 33"+ tires and a 2.5" lift. Also real comfy and quiet. Mine with 9k miles and every option was over 7k cheaper before taxes etc. than a base XL F150 extended cab 4x4 3.5 fx4. The cost difference would take...

Hybrid or Gas for full-time camper? MPG guesses?

The Tundra is a terrible choice for your proposed build both gas and hybrid. Following along on the 3rd gen tundra forums they are also getting really poor gas mileage for supposedly being so much more efficient. With a camper I bet you would pull low to mid teens max.

Whoa...the new 2020+ Titan Pro-4x has serious potential...

I have the same gripe but that's basically the same on all modern trucks. Once nice thing about the Pro4x Titan is that the skid plate wraps around the bottom of the bumper. It contributes to the big chin but the trade off is it actually protects the front end. The Icon lift pretty much solved...

In theory....it's more like 1300-1400lbs in reality.

Whoa...the new 2020+ Titan Pro-4x has serious potential...

Mine was wildly cheaper for way more equipment and way less miles and a way longer warranty. Literally no downside compared to a Tundra other than resale.

I came to the same conclusion and bought one. Perfect truck for me. Let me know if you have any questions.
