Wonder if that is all airbags in the vehicle or just dash and wheel? Maybe I can get a new cover out of it since mine curls up like most LR3s...hahaha
Never crap....Love my Rover and always will. Best vehicle I've owned.
Not bad looking. Definitely looks to have the approach angle of the factory bumper and all accessories such as lights, sensors, and washers figured out.
Curious to see the cost......then add shipping!
We could not be more serious! Known issue and I have experienced both. Difference is, I am aware of the issues and symptons and have ways (like others do) to get around it should it occur again.
Bottom line is it has to do with the computer thinking the truck is in a dangerous situation so it...
Great choice, keeps with the classiness of your build.
I am going with the BFG KM2 as well when I get around to my 17" wheel mod on my NAS Disco 3. The tire is proven around the world and we can keep them skinny.....hahaha
I keep on following, loving the D90!
Ball Joint and Tie-Rod end taper angles
Does anyone know the angles for the front ball joint and tie rod end taper on LR3/4. My buddy emailed me and he has seemed to have caused some damage to his taper holes on one of his steering knuckles. I'm thinking he can run a tapered reamer in it but...
I never realized the size comparison of the D90 until I see it parked next to your Disco? The more I see D90, the more I am willing to settle for one and wait on the 110 until later for the full overland rig.
@ TDHunter13 That answers all questions. I was just referring to what parts you ended up replacing after it was all said and done.
@ JymmieJamz I think he is referring to marking the cams for a "good enough" until you get to the alignment shop for an initial starting point.
$1500 or $2000, that's a steal for a Diesel upgrade. I'm going to look around on the site and see what options are not allowed on SE. If it comes with Diesel, NAV, and Bluetooth, I'm pretty much good! hahaha
Connor (DiscoDavis) method works great. Make sure front and rear panels are on full heat in the entire vehicle. I also use the bleed screw on the reservoir and burp the large radiator hose while I top it off and while it's running.
First question? Do you have heat in the front and back of the...
AC/Heater door flapper!
Anyone know the best way to get to the heater/AC door flapper? Not sure if that is what it's called but my AC blows luke warm in AUTO on the passenger side. I am hearing that is a known sticking issue. Seems to even out in MANUAL but in AUTO it's easily 5-8 degrees...
I am moving into post military retired life so I am clearing out my projects. Finishing a custom bike build to flip and pay for another flying certification and then back to my LR playpen! Right now, Victory mods are on the back-burner but Josh continues to plug away on the aluminum bumper...
Great write up. Did you call AB direct and tell them about the price match? I have to order just about everything here in Hawaii so I pay for shipping but with the cost of those RRS control arms, it still makes the shipping worth it.
I ordered just about all of my parts from AB and Lucky8...
Yeah and that's going to seriously limit the fully loaded diesel/locker used car sales options of the Disco community. Not many are going to be looking for those options specifically only to turn it over a few years later on the USED LR market.
That's probably putting the configuration you...
So just to confirm, NAS Disco 5 will start at $50k and have a $1500 diesel upgrade? That sounds appealing to me if true. Of course nobody will sell it at $50k but knowing the bare bones option with diesel is there, makes me feel warm and fuzzy that we can get into an LR4 replacement possibly at...
