New Conqueror UEV 14 and heat distribution

https://www.hi-velocity.com/ They use smaller ducts due to the high velocity of the system. May or may not work out for you but they have 2" diffuser grilles.

When is a transfer case, a differential? When it allows slip, as opposed to be fully locked? Most of the vehicles I owned were part time 4x4 so the transfer case was either locked in 4hi or 4 low, or was "open" and no power to front differential. My 08 Ranger and 14 F150 having been examples of...

    The Escape 19

It is a bit lighter than the Fiddy was and yeah much shorter wheelbase. It has the Nivomat self leveling rear shocks of the tow package. No idea how they work. Wouldn't touch air ride in our climate.

    The Escape 19

It's always fun watching the fuel economy dive around there when you hit the wind. Interesting experiences gentlemen. With the Fiddy I never felt the unsettled with the Escape, even in strong cross winds and head winds.

I get a bit confused when people say triple differential locks. Does the IG not use a part time/locked transfer case with low range like domestic NA trucks? Front and rear ELD are a treat though. Open on the street, locked when you need. My Fiddy loved to go sideways on ice and snow with even a...

    Ford’s new 6.8L V8

That's why I'm rocking my two feet, the Transit 250, and if winter ever ends, an equally inefficient motorcycle. 70s for a half ton is nuts. 80s for a low trim gas 250 is nuts. Who is buying these, and how are they making mortgage payments on the vehicles?

    The Escape 19

I did not use a WDH with the Fiddy. I am going to try with a regular riser hitch and see how it behaves in a short drive first. Not wanting to buy and lug around a WDH was one of the reasons we were shooting for smaller trailers. I'm estimating the weight is near 4900# loaded up with full fresh...

    The Escape 19

A couple months away from camping season already. Feels like September was only a couple months ago. Have to deal with the out of spec axle, otherwise hopefully no more surprises when I pull it out of storage Get to see how a 2019 WK2 with 3.6 Pentastar and tow package handles the Escape 19...

    Our Kingdom Camping Trailer Build

When did this company start producing units? I really don't think they were around or had a standardized product in that 7x17 layout in 2019. The dual axle product sure is something!

    Jeep Grand Cherokee

Some of the WJ had the Dana 44a rear differential. I can't remember what combo got that, if it was all 4.7 engine WJ or something more specific. I had 3.73 ratio, 4.7 Laredo with the quadra trac 2 case. What did me in was it's unibody and an aging platform. 99-04 was a long time ago. Rust and...

There is no way this won't be pushing 100k CAD and there will giant swaths of Canada with no authorized or clued in service centers for many thousands of KM. I'll check into Ineos in 5 more years and see how they come along

When I click on this link it brings me to a page that says guest area, and has a password entry screen. I blame this old phone running an obsolete OS with obsolete version of Chrome.

Yep, 4.8l GM V8 with a 4l60e and call er good. Haha. As far as engine pull to do timing chain, plenty of Ford's get cab lifts or engine drops for major repairs on the 3.5 EB. I don't know what the Rams or GMs are like for major engine break downs. Weren't Hemis dropping valves? Can't get the...

    Ford’s new 6.8L V8

Local lots starting to have inventory, they refuse to move on price tho. Many still covered in snow. Not a single extended cab anything in Ford lots I've seen. Just crew cabs. This whole "pay MSRP plus and wait six months" thing is getting old. And with the XL and STX trucks being so close in...

    Ford’s new 6.8L V8

What do you get in town? I'd probably go with 3.73 for work and 33-34" narrower tires. They are tall enough already it's a ********** to get things out of the bed and off a roof rack when you are 5'7"

    Ford’s new 6.8L V8

Man if I could actually get 15 mpg US out of a 6.8 or 7.3 Super Duty SCAB Short box 4x4 with a cab heigh commercial topper and 1500#+ of gear, I'd really question driving my Transit 250 3.7. That's some decent mileage for a heavy, large square shaped vehicle. What are you guys seeing stop and...

Trail Marker Up and Out with Wet Bath by Rollingstar MFGing

Can't wait to see pics and get your opinions on it. TM was on my short list but having none to see in person, and missing a few features as options when we were looking, combined with our weak Canadian dollar, we ended up not going that way.
