Can someone smarter than me please explain…

Frankly, I think there should be a mix of BEV and ICE vehicles used. There are places each shine. It would make more sense to start upgrading structures to gain and lose less energy, and stop burning fossil fuels for residential and light commercial space heating, leaving those fuels for...

    F150 - 2.7L vs 3.5L vs 5.0L

If it's winter six months a year where you live, it won't ASS most of the time because your luxury truck will have the heated seats, wheel, defroster, and wiper heaters running and the load on the electrical system will be too high to allow the feature. At least that's the case with my wife's...

New Gen Tundra front recovery points

Our currency is so weak vs the USD it's not worth the hassle of buying from USA As well I live in the middle of Canada and our city is the only major metropolitan area in quite some ways so i'd likely be going at least two provinces west to buy and get any sort of deal, or go a couple days...

    INEOS Grenadier

I'd take a Ford cyclone V6 with a 6R80 or 10R80 in it. For North America anyway.

Thanks for the write up on the mods after having a d using them for a while.

Out with the old, in with the new...F-150.

Poor quality oil, poor quality filter, poor oil change intervals, mediocre material choices. There are low km breakdowns which kind of suggest a design flaw, but when do we ever see the entire picture in detail?

New Gen Tundra front recovery points

I'd never thought I'd see the day a new Tundra is cheaper than domestic trucks I want to buy equipped a certain way, but the day is here. (Not that I can find any of these trucks in physical form) If I'm willing to eat the small has tank, the only thing I'm missing is front tow hooks from my...

Toyo Open Country AT3 - 34/10.50/17 - anyone running them?

My 34x10.5KO2s ran really small as you mentioned. Had an AT in 255/80R17 been available at the time I'd have gone that route, since they are same outer diameter in real life (in the case of the km2s)

    Ford’s new 6.8L V8

Yeah I noticed similar to all of this. I was up into the 80s with an STX package XL with 6.8. Once you add 4WD and some options it jumps in price. However the XLT with Sport package came in at 85k CAD and I find it quite ugly. If I'm going to be only saving a couple grand on the XL by the time...

Having Difficulty Pricing my F-150 to Sell

Sold my 2014 F150 Supercab 6.5 box 4x4 129,000KM with 34s, billies, cap with roof rack, and other stuff for $17900 Canadian pesos. 3.7 V6 tho. XLT. I'm very far from where you are tho, but high spec XLT/FX4 and Lariats with low km are in mid 20s. Sometimes higher. I'd say around the 20 mark for...

Arkto Campers G12 Leads the Pack for Offroad Hybrid Pop-ups especially if you want it to fit in an 8-foot Garage

Pretty neat. Nice to see some more production in Canada as well. A couple years too late for us, and 50% more than we spent, but it's certainly seems to be in line with similar products, and offers that lower tow and storage height but quick set up and a big bed.

The full sized mid-size, my 2014 F150 "Fiddy"

Nothing. I can't afford a new F150 or any new truck. Just going to use my wife's WK2 to tow the camper. Keep driving my T250 for work.

    Help with Tire Sizing

Went from P235/75R17 street tread to LT235/80R17 E load KO2s and gained handling and a marginal increase in fuel economy. I was loaded up weight wise all the time. Fuel economy dropped going to LT34x10.5R17 D load KO2s Let's see pics and thoughts once those new tires are on.

I think new Expeditions need a bit more love?

Doesn't Calicamper run an Expedition? @Todd n Natalie I didn't even know they released a Timberline. Our FX4 wasn't the same as US spec and I couldn't justify the cost and step backwards off road capability wise for one of those.

I need to upgrade my truck to a 250/2500

I don't recall seeing anything about duty cycle in here. Having ran a 1/2 ton in trade use, I can assure you things wear out and break down far sooner than in occasional use. Is hauling 1800-2000# a half dozen times a year going to be a big risk for the typical half ton? (Think of home...

Really sorry my phone doesn't have a built in way to compress images, the limit for uploads seems to be lower than 4.5MB. Newfoundland is really awesome and I recommend checking it out if you can. There are quite a few craft breweries (all around the island), along with lots of hiking, camping...
