Ford Maverick TREMOR coming soon ?????? (no joke!)

That price creep is a thing, the little 2wd four banger Rangers of the past were actually cheap. I haven't looked lately but it's sounding like we'll be able to option up a Maverick into the 40s shortly.

Sounds like FORD’s going to offer another engine choice for the Tremor

On my 3.7 cyclone, I have had an oil pan gasket leak, and a radiator fitting leak. I have otherwise followed maintenance closer to the severe service schedule thanks to -35°C winters and 35°C summers, and usually towing and always hauling. It's a 2014. To be fair it only has 117k on it so it's...

Sounds like FORD’s going to offer another engine choice for the Tremor

Yeah I don't hear tons about turbo failures on the EB engines. It's cam phasers and timing chains on the 3.5, and way back on the first gen the issues with sucking in water from the intercooler prior to the weep hole. That's majority of what I've absorbed over the years while online, and my...

Sounds like FORD’s going to offer another engine choice for the Tremor

If all goes well and new truck prices go back to normal late next year, as in where they where early 2020, I'll worry about engine decisions then. In all likelihood it will still be a 2.7 for me, since 7k towing is the most I'll need. Both the 5.0 and the 3.5EB have more than enough jam for a...

Sounds like FORD’s going to offer another engine choice for the Tremor

Looking at the Dyno charts, power and torque peaking is in the 3-5k range for both. I'm surprised the 5.0 comes on as early as it does for torque. Is the first gear on the 10 speed super low? I haven't looked at Tremor because I don't want a crew cab, but most 5.0 and 3.5 trucks I see in real...

Sounds like FORD’s going to offer another engine choice for the Tremor

As far as power it really depends what you need the truck for. I'm making due with 100 less HP and even worse for torque.

The full sized mid-size, my 2014 F150 "Fiddy"

Penciled in itinerary for the road trip to The Rock. Aug 20 04:30H press an Empty Cup coffee for the travel mug and clean the press. 05:00H GTFO of Winnipeg and head East on #1. 05:30H hover slightly above the seat of the truck and Yammer incessantly to my wife after 20oz of coffee. Stop in...

Any updates with this build? Or word on the extended range fuel tank?

    New Bronco

Maybe $20k Don't forget nobody wants a 3.7 fiddy, or a supercab. I'm flogging it in October if market is still strong and just driving my Transit 250 when I need a personal vehicle. Hopefully after the recession I can buy something again. This market is insane.

    New Bronco

Uhhh, I dunno what bugs me more, the 300a F150 at almost 55k or the lifestyle vehicle for 74k

The full sized mid-size, my 2014 F150 "Fiddy"

The water was very brisk. My friend fell off her paddle board and was not at all impressed. I went in to my knees and said no thanks! Daytime highs were like 19°C, and with all the rain the water is cold. I've been to Sleeping Giant before and we are trying to plan a group trip there next year...

    New Bronco

Ram classics were all mid sixties locally last I looked. Ford doesn't even have an F150 Supercab in the city of Winnipeg as far as I can tell. I've seen a few actual Bronco s driving around but can't say I've noticed one on a lot yet. They look nice with hard tops.

The full sized mid-size, my 2014 F150 "Fiddy"

Just went out for four days to Rushing River Ontario with my wife and met up with my two best friends and their families. Glad we got the dual batteries and solar as we charged all of the devices! 40-60kph cross wind gave me 22l/100km @ 100ish kph on the way there, but thanks to a tail wind on...

    2017 F-150 build...Everyone meet Walter White

Not great pics but bent pretty good, gouge in the front plate and it almost/did impact the EPAS

    New Bronco

True, but the current going price for Fiddy and Bronco's, those aren't worth what they are asking.

    New Bronco

That's a lot better than the Theta 2 platform in Hyundai's. But at the new price of Hyundai's prior to COVID, it's a touch less painful than on what the asking rate is on a Bronco.

    2017 F-150 build...Everyone meet Walter White

I'll see what I can do, my camera app doesn't have a default way to compress images to fit the limits of this page The aluminum bends easier and it's softer so it does gouge.
