Bill is always a trooper when it comes to trail runs, and he knows how to handle his rig.
You and he should match up times to come down to Baja again or just come play in the Arizona desert instead of that cold, white fluffy stuff.
Contact Snap Treehouse, they are much quicker to get you a camper and mine has been great. My Tacoma and Treehouse together are for sale if you really don't want to wait :) Ad here on Expo
I would really recommend a 270deg awning. I have the 23Zero Peregrine with walls and the space is amazing.
Previously I had the Darche 270deg and it was nice but the folks at 23Zero fixed all the design issues and made one much better.
If you really need just a side awning the 180 series is a...
Thanks,
I will have it with me when I volunteer at West and the new Colorado event, it will be fun to share ideas with all the cool people that always show up at OX
The Aeropress is just like a french press but cleanup is super easy as it ends as a puck of ground that you can push out into the trash and a quick wipe with a papertowel and you are done
I also love the Rollercam.....since I bought some at Overland Expo I have beat the crap out of them with no problems. You can tighten with 1 hand and release just as easily, never had one loosen on crazy washboard.
Cheap as almost any other strap and the end loops are my fav....but I also use...
Aeropress is about as small and high quality as you can get at a really good price.
Target has them last time I looked.
We have traveled for years with one and my wife loves the coffee out of it. Plus the grounds are like a puck so quick and easy clean up.
Still trying to get some detail pics...I admit I am having fun building the van interior for an upcoming Baja trip.
If anyone is within 6hrs or so of Phx I would be happy to drive to them for a rig checkout or if you are thinking of a Treehouse happy to let you look over mine.
I have been really happy with the van, the Ecoboost is such a great motor with the powerband where it is and the fun of the turbos.
It is something new to learn after years of air lockers....but that is just an excuse to go out and play more often.
I have not finished the interior of my SEMA build Transit but I wanted to get out for some day trip learning so I understand how it handles off road.
Quadvan does a great job on the conversion, the front diff is a Raptor 8.8 unit and the stock Ford 9.75 rear is plenty strong.
Eaton TruTracs...
$67K for all this is a great deal...
After building my Transit with a Quadvan 4wd conversion and a Sportsmobile poptop I can say this price is great for everything you are getting.
I have not done my interior yet and I would ask for more for my van.
Someone grab this up!
Thanks for the behind the scenes view...
I have been impressed by this event from the first I heard of it and continue to tell people about it.
Very cool and keep up the great work.
Absolutely I will try to get those pics tomorrow or the next few days.
That link has lots of pics but they are from a distance, I will try to get more up close.
