WTB - pop up camper for 6 foot tacoma.

Since you are east coast go visit the Snap Treehouse folks. I love mine, they are quicker to build than others and can be custom ordered as you want. https://snapoutfitters.com/ There are plenty of pics of mine here and on IG, FB

Wheel / tire options for 2019 ford transit

the 5x160 bolt pattern for the Transit is hard to find. If I remember right there are the Method Trail 701 like I have (slightly difference offset), Moto Metal and 1 other I can't remember. The fordtransitusa.com forum would be a good resource. If all you need is a spare there are plenty of...

    Wiring labeling

That is pretty good.... I will admit buying a cheap label maker has made it a little more fun to go back to past work and makes me smile when I look at looms vs the dread I used to feel.

Kofa New Year's Celebration 2020 - Shakedown With Our New Dog

I love the KofA area and the local Quartzite 4wd club puts out a great guide book to the surrounding area. The KofA stone cabin is one of our favorite overnight spots.

    Is this glamping?

Reminds me of the shepards homes the Basque use. Very cool

    2019 Revel - SOLD-

Bummer that you have to sell.... For anyone that is curious I have known Waymon for years and he takes METICULOUS care of vehicles, to the point that I usually make fun of him. But you are buying something that will be good as new. Again bummed that we didn't get to do a van outing but happy...

Question to van owners with penthouse tops about sleeping arrangements

We have a Sportsmobile poptop on our Transit and I am about to build version 2 of the interior. I purposely let a large center isle for using the van in everyday life and so I could throw down a single sleep pad when in stealth mode (would be times I am solo and just a quick road stop). We will...

Garmin has finally "Garmin'd" Delorme InReach plans

Truely sucks.....I also started to worry when Garmin bought Delorme. And our worries have been justified. All I can say is give feedback through Garmin social media, customer service is worthless but we do live in a world where social matters more everyday.

Wow that is seriously work compared to some strut spacers... Really looking forward to what you come up with.

    UJOR Build Thread

Is this a spacer lift or do you have new spindles or lower control arms? Just curious about the CV angles and how the van will handle offroad.

    Pop up Camper LiFePO4 system

I don't have an inverter but everything Victron makes seems to have better info and controls through the app. There is a Victron community forum that I have gotten great info from and posted questions on. https://community.victronenergy.com/index.html

    Pop up Camper LiFePO4 system

I love my Victron gear and have it in 2 builds. The only thing I will say is the Color Control GX is not needed honestly most of the time. I installed it in my van and have taken it out since everything is bluetooth and I can monitor and control each item from my phone. You might want some...

    Baja race

There is also the Sonora Rally .... I have also been a part of the NORRA Mex 1k for a number of years and since it all about fun I think you could do it if you were more about the experience than beating your rig to death. VW Syncro vans, Porsche 911's and other less than normal vehicles have...

    Good Ratchet Straps

I love the looped ends as I can put them around a bar, a tie down, a carbiner or whatever. I do have a couple of really long straight ends in case I want to go around a big load but honestly 99% of the time I am using the looped ends.

    Good Ratchet Straps

I just ordered more Rollercam straps and paid full price as I didn't want anyone thinking I was touting freebies. I love these things and everyone I have loaned one to has ended up buying them also. https://www.rollercam.com/ Price is really easy to handle and I usually order longer and cut to...

Disturbing News ??? for You Sprinter Buyers and Upfitters

I love my Ecoboosted Transit, the torque comes on at 2k rpm and I dyno'ed it after the 4wd conversion and big tires and still had 358ftlbs. Plus parts are easy to get and Ford dealers are everywhere. If you want the torque of a diesel without all the hassle get a Transit Ecoboost and be done.
