If weight and size is NOT an issue then the Costco 6v golf cart batteries are the cheapest per amp hour you can get. For the heat aspect I would use 12v computer fans to at least keep you at ambient or slightly under. You will only need them when the sun is shinning so the panels will give...
Another big vote for Scheel-Man
Toby the US guy has a Sprinter and loves to travel, he is also super helpful with questions.
I have 18k miles on mine and as an amputee with a bad back/pelvis I have NEVER been comfortable till now.
Dog loves them also :)
Loved my Troopy and glad to have you back stateside, I am Phx also if you ever need someone to run and camp with.
Camelback Toyota was happy to order all the parts I wanted as long as I knew the numbers (they can NOT look up most Troopy stuff).
Oh and if you are a member of the Copper State...
I have been doing plenty of 3-4 day trips with a few day trips and overnighters lately. I gas up and avoid locals but try to keep some money coming into these small economies.
I personally think if someone is high risk they should protect themselves (I have some family in that group and have not...
I might just give up going on my own trip and just enjoy the adventuretaco blog :)
Even though I just got home from El Camino del Diablo I want to head out the door after seeing all these pics, oh and your writing is as good as always.

But that only works on...
Your trips are actually getting me to take more pics....
I am still not writing & posting like I used to, but I am getting out more and my Go See It list is getting longer and longer ;)
Thanks for all your hard work.
Overland Gear Guy is a good dude and makes killer stuff.....so he knows biz and know customer service.

I have a...
Not to be "that guy" but every time you crack into or add to wiring you add a chance for failure.
I would suggest a sticker on the dash or teach yourself to do a walk around before leaving. I have done that for years and it is amazing how many times it has saved me or a buddy losing something.
