What are you towing with?
Where do you intend to take it?
I'd say get a fiberglass monocoque trailer then beef up the chassis and suspension.
There is a guy here did that to a resent model Casita.
My wife and I are buying an Escape 19 (15'8" living space), but depending on needs you could do a...
I'm not familiar with the older PCM in this generation.
Is the engine even cable of adjusting fuel trim to go with the increase in airflow?
Or are you running a tuner?
Completed the Mantario trail last weekend.
63km through hike.
We left the Fiddy at the North trailhead, and buddy drove his rusted Chevy to the South.
We managed the trail in 3 days of hiking.
1030H we left the South trailhead and made it to Marion lake approx 18 km away by 1645H
The next day we...
You will enjoy how the skid plates don't rust, but remember they aren't invincible. I have 1/4" aluminum RCI on my 12th gen and high centered myself on an obstacle hidden with snow and bent the transmission plate decently.
Let's see pics after, especially if you choose a winch!
It is amusing to see that heavy full size driving around there.
What running boards are those that they are tucked up so high compared to OEM?
Also, how solid are your quads from stepping up into that beast all the time?
The truck is driven, but will sit for a week or two on end without moving. I have noted in extreme cold (and it gets to -30 Celsius and colder) that I've seen shock oil leaking. I am leaning towards the long term lack of motion being the biggest culprit in your situation, but am no expert.
Nissan 4.0 vs Toyota 4.0 and remember the hilarious single cam 4.0 in the previous gen Rangers that made what like 207 crank HP? Those would also be nice comparison.
I'm surprised at how similar the curves are for Hemi and 5.6
Seeing that chart I'm surprised as far as gasser V8s go that Nissan...
My 5160s are looking rough but seem decent so far after 3 winters. Truck sits a week or two at a time without moving since 2018. Only 30-40k kilometers tho.
Hearing what I have from a shop that lifts trucks all day the Fox stuff doesn't care for winter and needs rebuilding. For the price point...
Wish they made the 6xxx series for the bastard 2014 model year!
Uncommon color, looks good.
Those tires are a touch small for that wheelbase, but keep it practical for towing.
Where are you from that you need real quality winter tires but the truck isn't super rusty?
136 liter tank? I can't...
Most guys do. It's easy with any aftermarket tuners. That's how I corrected for my F150. Without the adjustment the truck is a dog and shifts at weird points.
I'm not talking about one profile size difference, you are going 1+ inches larger to get a decent all terrain tire in there compared to...
Without a way to reprogram system for larger tires, I see this as a bigger Achilles heel than
the fact you can't jam in particularly large tires.
I am referring to the NA market van in particular.
AWD or aftermarket lockers be damned.
