I just got around to looking at Bud and Lou. Very interesting! Thanks for the idea's. My brother and I rode the other day. It was the last Critical Mass for the year. Nothing new, except my rear hub has a large amount of play in it. I need to take it into the local bike store. I passed...
A few photographs of my Mountain Unicycle - I am currently at 40 miles over the past couple of weeks. This number includes walking most of the major hills. With that said I am having a great time messing around on it!
Hi Butch,
Yes this is the only bicycle I own. I still love it! With that said I have now started riding with one wheel!
Day 2 - getting the hang of it.
Todays ride in the rain. I made it up to the Fire Station. Day 3 - back on a unicycle since I was a kid.
Distance 7.6 miles...
I like the MSR Dromedary 10 liter bag. I use to be able to place it behind the front seat of my Jeep TJ. This just happened to be right above the muffler. The water was nice and warm at the end of the day. MSR makes a shower adapter as well. I also like the ability to simple hang it off the...
The roof rack was designed by myself and built by a local fabricator. Here is a link below to my old build thread on my previous 07 Jeep. I just transfer the rack along with a lot of other things on to the new 13 Jeep...
I would love to have the AEV. The stock door handle opens the whole unit. I have a Jeeperman currently and the latch mechanisum is a pain in the butt. The wife and kids can barely open it. My reason for not owning the AEV is my custom roof rack attaches to the rear bumper of the Jeeperman...
Critical Mass - September 28, 2012
Back on the Moonlander. What better way to kick off riding again with a trip down to Critical Mass. The reason for my absence is subtly depicted in this photograph.
I took off early to try and put some miles on today. Here my brother and I are exploring...
Hello Luke,
Open the hood and check the steering linkage going thru the firewall. For some reason on my 07 Jeep the bushing in the firewall would slide down the square shaft. I simple tapped it back into place and put a small hose clamp on the metal to keep it from sliding in the future...
On my 2007 JKU(automatic) I use to have a problem were I would turn the key and only get a click sound. I soon figured out that if I drop the transmission down into neutral the Jeep would start right up. Might try this as a backup. Seems the computer was thinking that the Jeep was in gear...
Hills - September 5, 2012
Took off out of the house and headed up the usual sections towards Franks Peak and the Saddle. Photograph above is looking East just past the Saddle.
Finally took this new single track down the backside. It puts you out right across from the Way Up Trail at the...
