I'll consider upgrading the sleeping pad for comfort alone, but my back or side that touches the mat isn't where I am cold. It's actually the only part of me that stays warm.
Looked at a few dozen Wiggy's reviews last night. All over the board from horrible to great, from froze to sweat...
I'm tired of freezing in my summer and early fall backpacking sleeping bag. Which is a garbage Hot Core T200 "14° F" bag from Cabela's.
I am only interested in synthetic sleeping bags.
Budget is $250 Canada Pesos.
Use is truck camping and winter camping in mild weather and winter camping in a...
So the Billy 5160 rear shocks I have were not specifically for an F150. I picked the length based on the add a leaf and block I had at the time. Down to just AAL now.
The eyelet diameter is 1/2" on these shocks, but the Fiddy uses 12 mm bolts. That .7 mm of play makes a heck of a racket. In the...
Installed my passenger side Swing Case on Monday.
Haven't gone off road yet, but curious to how they will hold up over time. They are kind of jiggly when latched.
I can open the lid 85% of 90° in my case, so depending what you store in them you might be able to access without swinging the case...
I think it was ARE had a fiberglass topper model that had an internal frame that drastically increased roof rack rating
I forget which model as I was looking for my business, but then got a tall roof van instead.
I have a Leer 100 something model and my cheapo cross bars are only rated for 150#...
PioneerOverland are you intending to remove the air suspension down the road?
Otherwise from what I understand the lift links trick the suspension controls to sit one level higher.
So you lose OR2 as when in OR1 you are actually already at OR2 height.
I'll admit I haven't looked into the air...
Depends on wheel offset, and if you are comfortable with trimming valance, wheel well liners etc.
I feel like I've seen WK2 on large 32s and even 33s with the extended links that trick the air suspension into being one setting higher than normal.
A hot day is still under 95°f 99% of where I travel by vehicle so I'm sure the stock one will do, but thanks for the part #! If I done **************** it should be an easy swap now.
One thing I did worry about was what if the larger aftermarket cooler cooled too much when it's -31, which this truck...
I'd still throw a tune on just to fix Ford's horrible trans shifting and spongee pedal.
That is an unusual combo of options.
I assume it has Select Shift as well where you can lock out gears?
I'm further East, in Manitoba. Imagine the flat prairie part of Alberta, but with a lot less money.
I don't know if it would even be able to cross the border right now with all that's going on.
*Edited because I don't seem to know where I am
I just bought a swing case for my F150.
I haven't installed it yet, but it has a foam gasket to help keep water out. I'm not super concerned how good that works as I have a topper on my truck. Another good feature is you can easily unlatch it and take it out if you need room or to bring it to a...
Alright D45 I'm voting for 285/75R18 now based on what dverrastro has been running.
You have a tuner and ported intake manifold to help offset that rolling mass.
That tire will look good on your truck
I went from P235/75R17 street tires to LT235/80R17 KO2s and my fuel economy went up very slightly.
When I then switched to 34x10.5R17 KO2s my fuel economy went down.
All same truck.
