Need shorter leaf springs for my 1988 D60. Ford leaf spring bible?

Thanks justcuz The kingpin pad width is 3". The leaf spring brackets need to be custom made as I doubt any stock parts lines up. But the 55" long, front half 24" long you mentioned sounds like it would work well. Why rear springs though? And assuming the weight rating is for one leaf spring...

Leaf sprung kingpin and wash board rippled roads? E350 van

I think I'm going to find a 05-07 F250 F350 for the coil spring super 60 and sell the kingpin. Brady at sportsman 4x4 told me the only custom parts needed was a track bar.. And they move the axle forward 1.5" with stock coil perch's. Sounds easy.

After my 2500 mile round trip to colorado (15k GCWR) , Iv determined my cummins rebuild is a success. 80 mph, 2300 rpm, 850 egt, 14 psi, 14 mpg. Now I feel this project deserves the 4x4 conversion.. I have a 1988 ford D60 and understand no kits exist for its installation into my 95 E350. Im...

Thanks.. So all I have to do is browse the area I plan on camping in with a internet connection and then those maps are in my phones cache for good? I sure hope so, because if I go to pandora or another app for a moment and lose my maps, the allstay and ultimate us public campground apps are...

New camping location app for iPhone / iPad

I downloaded allstays and ultimate us public campground apps and will use them soon. What happens when you open the app with only data, no internet? Do you need to keep the app open after leaving a wifi area on a iphone for it to retain the map and locations?

    Camping hot tub!

Hahahaha! good one! Yeah, two maybe three days. I would think it might get funky by then and wondered about bromine and how fast it dissipates.. Iv been searching all over and still think the Thermosiphon fire ring the best.. As it has a easier route for the water and probably more...

Did ford equip any SRW E350's with a D70HD or D80?

98 dodge D80.. the hybrid. hopefully It looks like enough room for a centered drive shaft. Barely 3" to the tank All speculation as the truck is 30 miles south at the moment.

Yes. I understand why not many run the kingpin axles. There aren't to many left.

Springs for a ford kingpin 60.

Amen... Unit bearings prevents you from buying separate parts = more expensive Why would axle builders use ball joints if kingpins are superior? Because the new balljoint D60 knuckles are more readily available..

Springs for a ford kingpin 60.

It will be a year or more before I install a axle, so who knows who else will answer my craigslist ad. But right now, I think this king pin D60 front, D80 rear, are the best choice's under my 1st gen 6bt but it all comes down to the kingpin vs ball joint debate..

Springs for a ford kingpin 60.

I told myself.. " Which ever axle you find first, 86-91 or 99 and up, use it" From what I understand, these aren't very easy to find.

split axle from f250 1980-1997 front quigley used.

Were the S/K TTB vans called quadvan? Do you know the years he used TTB? I'm not sure I could justify agile's $10k TTB for my 1995.. But I could justify a rusted out S/K parts van.

split axle from f250 1980-1997 front quigley used.

Yeah, but good info in buried in the archive's. Like this.. How consistent did ford keep the van frames through the generations? Did the 3rd gen, which is where you might find a S/K TTB, have a different width?
