Disco 5 clearly shares more with ford explorer than LR3/4. Honestly I think the Explorer looks better and more cohesive design.

Thanks for your concern for my parking brake, but its been setup this way for years and 35K+ miles...no problem with heat or CO. The original PB still works great, which is rare on 2006 LR3. More importantly, the pipes that run under the rear diff no longer get smashed on rocks. Better yet...

I would be surprised is a failing CAT would cause back fires. Another option: I cut my pipes in front of the rear axle and bolted on turndown tips. I can always reinstall the resonators if needed (for inspection) but never have. The sound is 5% better :)

What did you do for mounting the front air distribution block? Did the washer bottle need bracing? Thanks! We are planning a trip to Red River Gorge KY in June and think I might need a winch!

I had the same issue after a steering shaft replacement. They tried to blame my over sized tires. They redid the alignment and it corrected the problem 100%, but never admitted what was changed.

Lift the wheel off the ground and see if it wiggles. My Duratrac LT275/65r18 tire clearance is so tight with upper a-arm, it rubs and rumbles if there is any bearing play.

I cut my rear out. Seems to be very minor improvement offroad, but I noticed it also suffers a little on twisty roads. Feel like TWO spares on the roof now. Wife didn't notice any difference.

The LR3+4's were Aluminium - id be surprised if they went back to steel AND can claim "2 gram per side lighter". Has it really come down to only grams to shave off? Maybe they could get rid of the power flappy thing in the back and save a few KILOGRAMS!
