Still no aftermarket carpet kit available for these vans. Surely it must mean that the older kit still fits with some minor alterations right?
2003 to 2014 is just a huge market to not be served at all .
Has anyone ever tried this?
2009 AWD chevy express
Best I ever did was 20mpg over 1200 miles.
Since adding beefy tires, solar , roof racks and a mild lift, the economy has suffered 10 percent or more.
If this is going on an ambo build , I suggest going bigger on solar and then just getting a dorm fridge. With a good pure sine wave inverter they are pretty efficient.
I added an inch of insulation all around to mine and the power usage is pretty reasonable.
With a stock 1500 express AWD you can squeeze 20MPG out with just a little hypermiling .
Add BFGs, a 2 inch lift , roof rack, solar panels and a bike on the back and you can still get 17.
Not sure a 3/4 ton will do that on gasoline.
I wonder how it would do on the desiel in central and south america. Is this actually a problem? I keep hearing about high sulfer screwing with modern emissions equipment.
That is a great price for that van.
Many folks do not understand what has happened to the price of AWD vans in the last few years.
Weak link is transmission
Where you live I would be very worried about rust. Take it in for a full pre purchase inspection and if it passes, snap it up.
I hate the cooler form factor so I just bumped up the solar a bit and went with an RCA dorm fridge.
Could not be happier. Just make sure to get a nice pure sine wave inverter.
Wow , thanks for the photo.
Those are of no use to me, I also need the full mat as mine is worn out and needs full replacement.
Sure is an ambiguous listing especially with no photos.
Wow that sucks.
I am just north of you and driving to salt lake tomorrow.
If I see it between here and there I will let you know.
Good luck and I hope it comes back soon and in good shape.
