My experience with outfitter's was a disaster. The build quality was poor and customer service was even worse, I would steer clear of them. I wish I would have bought the FWC instead but thought I needed the bells and whistle the outfitter had, I was wrong.

Nice build. You are right, there is not enough FJC builds on this forum I need to get one going also.

We use a Mountain Smith K9 Cube which is large enough to hold all of his food, folding bowls, leashes, cold weather jacket and other doggy items. It's well made and keeps all his stuff in one place which makes it easy to find what you need quickly.

There are some National Parks that have campgrounds that are tent camping only (Grand Tetons has one) and they do not allow RTT's, must be ground tents. I have never used a tent site with my RTT, I just use a regular site when I do use a developed campground which I try not to do but sometimes...

I have had mine for over a year now and it's been all over the south west and it works well (makes the wife extra happy when its cold). Haven't needed to call them for service yet but it's nice to know they take care of their customers. :sombrero:
