I often get ask about a “typical” Disabled Explorers Day Trip, well the problem is none of them are ever “typical”. Our goal as an all volunteer non-profit is for the disabled participant to pick where we go, what we do and how long we stay. Not only that but recently we...
crazy,
I love it
I guess since I already have a trailer for the Action Trackchair then we are good to go.
Wonder if it could be made wide enough for power chairs to fit also?
Great video....
she embodies the idea of how folks should stop planning/building/dreaming and just go...even it is just over the nearest hill.
Thanks for the post
I am not sure what height Sportsmobile West considers their lift but I am running 35x12.5/17 Nitto Trail Grapplers with no issues and love them to death.
I put 36,000 miles on the 33" Nittos without a flat or any other issue. The 35's give me even more sidewall to play with, which really...
Of course Terry,
Later today I will try and post some pics and a link to a video on youtube, if you can't wait then just go to youtube and search disabledexplorers and look for one called intro...that shows some of moab.
Hey the Disabled Explorers Sportsmobile WAVE did Fin's n Things and that was driven by a guy i n a wheelchair!
We also played on some other stuff and generally had a blast in Moab.
Jay, please take this in the way it is intended...
But you guys are SUPER LUCKY when it really comes down to it...
Imagine if this had happen in Utah or elsewhere on a shelf road?
Or on the highway curvy off ramp with any kind of speed...
Or even where it did but resulting in the rig on it's...
Yeah they sent out req to those of us early tester folks for suggestions on a new name..
I guess those of us who kept giving them grief over the name got through.
I think they are a cool product and I am looking forward to trying the new heavy duty ones when they come out.

I really want to get the wife & kids out on this one.
Or a new disabled participant, or both, who knows :)
cool link and thanks...
I will spend more time looking it over at work tonight, and I like the idea of adding something for folks interested in the outdoors.

how hard would it be to regularly access the cabin area from the truck?
Is it more of a tiny crawl through opening or something you could move back & forth between easily?
Hey Mark,
Thanks for posting this info, working with the land managers on a regular basis allows us to be more than just another user group.
I hope we can get some of the Prescott area folks to join in.
This sounds like a good time, I am going to add it to the list but I can't say for sure yet...
I do know if you are leading Mark then we will get some great history and fun times.

also with dual doors you can have...

Oh and if you need a place to stay near Sky Harbor Airport in Phx my place is aval and it is easy to get to there.
Hey Al, thanks for the book link, I am looking forward to reading that one when I track it down.
zero, thanks for the archive link, the history stuff is so cool as it shows us how much was done before we can along, and with less gear and tech than we have now.
