    Larry's 1978 K10

There are several sources out there but I highly recommend Hydratech and their products. Scroll down to PN HBS9106 on this page: http://www.hydratechbraking.com/hose_fittings.html Todd Z.

Another option to consider are the adapters to convert the metric o-ring fittings to standard thread fittings. They would negate the need for a custom hose and still allow you to use a later model booster. Todd Z.

    AEV Bilstein Shock Upgrade

I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for a response from King. Their poor customer service is legendary. I would highly recommend Fox. Good quality product, good dealer network, well-engineered, and good parts availability when needed. Todd Z.

Maybe a John Mayer concert at next year's Overland Expo? I'll bet a lot more girlfriends/wives might suddenly be more interested in attending..... Todd Z.

    Overland Journal: Discovery I, 5-speed

I certainly agree. One of the simple joys in life for me in recent years, as a mechanical engineer/suspension junkie/junkyard hound, has been to look at the various suspension bits on various LR models in local junkyards. I certainly appreciate the various design features incorporated over the...

    Overland Journal: Discovery I, 5-speed

Interesting how stock stuff often performs better for most of our needs than the high-zoot aftermarket bits. Although as I recall your additions were fairly mild - some modded arms, taller springs and double-cardan driveshafts? Todd Z.

icon may begin to produce a defender model?

I saw the 110 at SEMA and was surprised how much I liked it. I'm not crazy about the 90 iteration. I enjoy the OEMs much more with this model too. Todd Z.

    AEV RAM At Sema.

I saw it first thing this morning and while it's a neat build, I prefer a regular bed on a pickup as well. Fed Ex lost AEV's shipment so catalogs won't be available until tomorrow. Todd Z.

    Larry's 1978 K10

I had the same thought! And then thought a bit more about a lot of the rigs in this genre and it probably is 'low buck'. In any case, congrats. Few rigs of your caliber appear in the magazines. Todd Z.

Thanks for sharing that, Lance. His choice of a traveling vehicle was 'old' even in 1975. Todd Z.

Who has experience with DT Profab?

Ping crawler#976 on this board - he has some of Dave's products on his Power Wagon. I've known Dave for nearly 3 decades now but haven't used anything more substantial than fabbed tabs from his "Tab Zone" line of products. The small items I've used have been quality products. Todd Z.
