    2nd Gen Raptor Thoughts/Comments

What I would like is to be at a dead stop, turn the truck to 4 Lo, turn the locker switch, and have stuff engage. That's exactly how the lockers work on my wife's ZR2. Simple. That said, are you saying if I keep the truck under 3mph the lockers will engage?

    2nd Gen Raptor Thoughts/Comments

And I'll continue to complain about it. I don't remember the Wrangler having the same issue as the Power Wagon. It's a huge source of frustration. And a little fun fact, I had the original bypass when Morgan built them (I had serial number 2 I think), and I sold that to Able so that he could...

    2nd Gen Raptor Thoughts/Comments

I have zero concern about the payload. The biggest thing I tow is a 21 foot Pontoon Boat. Right now I'm considering the following when I replace my 2012: New Ram Power Wagon Ram Rebel TRX Ford Raptor Ford Super Duty with the Tremor Package The biggest thing I have against my Power Wagon (or a...

    2nd Gen Raptor Thoughts/Comments

So I know there’s not a lot of focus on the Raptor here, but part of me is considering a new Raptor to replace the Power Wagon in the near future. I don't need a 3/4 ton truck, and the thought of something that rides nicer than my truck (the Power Wagon rides pretty damn nice for a 3/4 ton...

EPA Diesel Engine “Delete Tuning” Crackdown...Is It Here Now?

I’m kind of torn on this. I have no problem with doing things to increase performance and economy, but I hate seeing the diesel trucks that “roll coal.” All that does is leave a big ass stinky cloud for the vehicles behind the truck.

How many miles are on your truck? How many miles on the first set of head gaskets?

    Chevy Colorado Z71 CCSB 2.8L

The new Colorado is a solid platform. My brother has a 2018 Z71 Crew Cab Long Box V-6 and my wife has a 2019 ZR2 Crew Cab V-6, and both are great trucks. I've heard a lot of good things about the diesel, but it would have been the wrong setup for my wife and I (my brother could have used one if...

    thoughts on full size

My daily driver is a 2012 Ram Power Wagon, while my wife has a 2019 Chevy Colorado ZR2. We don't worry too much about fuel economy because both of our vehicles will get around 8,000 miles a year, so I can't speak to the fuel economy debate much. If fuel economy was a concern, I'd have to look...

I’d have no problem suggesting the ZR2. Reason being my brother has a 2018 Z71 mated to the V-6 with close to 30,000 flawless miles, and he drives it like a ZR2. My wife’s daily driver is a 2019 ZR2 that more than likely will be the biggest pavement princess ZR2 sold. The big selling point was...

Anybody else want a small USEABLE 4X4?

My daily driver is a 2012 Ram Power Wagon, so whenever I get in my wife’s ZR2 I feel like I’m in a “small” pickup truck. The wife’s truck is a gasser, and it’s pretty fun to drive around town (it could use an extra 100hp, but that might just be me), and I feel like I can park it almost anywhere...

    Need new tires

My brother just put KO2’s on his Colorado Z71 and was really happy with how they handled the first snow storm of the season.

    Need new tires

I just replaced my Toyo A/T II's in a 285/75/17 with Cooper Discoverer AT3 XLT's. I only got 32,000 miles out of the Toyo's so I decided I'd give something else a try. I haven't had the new AT3's in deep snow or ice yet, but they are quiet on the highway and they ride nice.

Am I the only one wondering where the skid plates are in general?

    AEV Ram HD snorkel question

I’ve got the AEV Raised Air Intake/Snorkel on my Power Wagon and I’d never take the truck into an automatic wash. I just don’t trust something not wrapping around the top of the inlet.

Ford Superduty Tremor "off road" 2020 F250/F350.

Ford will let you build a 2020 Tremor now. Here’s how I’d spec one out in the King Ranch Package with the new 7.3L Gas Motor. $75,000 ish for mine, looks like I have expensive taste!

    Comparison shopping: Colorado, Gladiator, Tacoma

Personally, I think you’ll be happy in the Colorado. The front seats are comfortable, and the front of the cab is roomy. At 6’8” I’m very comfortable in my wife’s ZR2. My brother who’s only 6’5” daily drives a Z71 and he loves his truck (he does north of 20,000 miles a year on his vehicle).

    5th gen RAM AEV

From the aevRJ on the AEV Forum: Unfortunately I don't have a definitive answer about backwards compatibility for any component of the RAM front bumper (including the brush guard). It's definitely being discussed. It's obviously in our best interests for our products to work on as many vehicles...

    5th gen RAM AEV

You're 100% correct. I remember the first AEV Sema Truck, and it left the pre 2014 HD Ram owners hanging in regards to the lift kit and future products. If AEV had offered a lift for my truck, I may have ended up with 37" tires and their bumper. I guess in the long run they saved me some money...

    SEMA Ram Rebel OTG

It’s a neat idea. The snorkel is just ok, I really prefer AEV’s design. The bumper is interesting, and I like the roof rack. Definitely not a hint at the TRX.
