Okay so I drove about 200 miles this weekend and it did all the exact same stuff. Including the initial drivng hiccups which seemed worse. It doesn't matter if the engine warmed up or not. Hop in start driving and within like 100 yrds it bucks and tries to die unless you let off the gas. If I...

What did you do to your Expo Jeep today?

Sigh. I'll get started on one, but given the highly technical and involved nature I have a few reservations. Mainly that it will be lost on many of you weekend-warriors who can install bumpers and lifts and electronics, swap drivetrains, fabricate parts, and all sorts of "basic" mods, but lack...

    A Scrambler's Homecoming

Absolutely beautiful pics you have here, and the story of you and this jeep is amazing. I love this thread.

Yeah, even with the camo, looks like a tastefully modified XJ. Good job.

What did you do to your Expo Jeep today?

I installed a new bow on my christmas wreath to replace the old one....I know, most of you guys dont do this extreme level of work and modification on your vehicles, so please, dont feel like you need to perform at this level. I understand.

I don't recall exactly it was that prompted changing our approach afterthay trip, because it ran awesome and got over 13mpg. As soon as we switched back to lower (normal) displacement and upped the pressure the original issues seemed to reappear. I'll have to go back and re-read. On a side...

she is a fickle beast, this one. Last he mentioned, it apparently seems to be a "known" thing with the Atomic setup. He made some comment along the lines of having read about other people experincing similar issues. I do not know what the temp ranges are for the pre-set start up programs are...

Man, those are both awesome. Having grown weary of my pile, i have been lusting over a willy's or a wagon for some time now. I'd love an old old willy's CJ3something to just putt around the hills in, or a wagon for a camping vehicle. some day I will find a way out of my heap and into one of...

Have not driven in about 3 weeks. Dont even really feel like thinking about it anymore. As a test, I fired it up this morning because it was in the 20's. Engine temp was 34* at startup. Started up instantly and idled perfect for like 10 minutes then i shut it down. Great. Why doesn't this...

    I AM ROAMR Waggie

It's a bad *** rig, but for some reason I always feel that the old iron wagoneers look best when done a bit more conservatively. Oversized tires on stock looking wheels would have been vastly superior. But then again, I'm partial to that whole "stock but not" look....

Been driving it around a bit. It's been hunting on start up again. Also, within the first minute of driving on a cold start, even if it's been allowed to warm for several minutes, when you step on the gas it bogs and sputters and i actually got it to stall on the road when I was doing about...

My buddy has fitech and likes it. A little simpler to install than the MSD since there is no external module to mount, but thats about it. He has somehow burned through 3 of their fuel pumps though and is looking to do an in-tank pump. I'm liking the MSD so far, it has a few little quirks and...
