    Ursa Minor J30 bed width?

Here's a picture I stole from somewhere (ursa minor Facebook maybe?).

    Jeep Wrangler Habitat Official Release

I think the look of the texture was the least of the problems. The whole thing got textured. All sealing surfaces were textured (where the top seals to bottom half, where the tent is supposed to seal to the top, where the doors seal, and on the surface you would stand/sit/lay on inside), so...

    Ursa Minor J30 bed width?

Email or call John, he is very helpful. I thought I remember the padding being 50" wide, and I thought there was an inch or two between the padding and the tent sides. This is all memory so take it for what it's worth. It's no queen sized bed though, it will be "cozy" with two up there.

    BFG A/T vs km2

Maybe it has more to do with outside temps then, I don't know. I've had mine in plenty of snow and ice in the mountains but normally not colder than 10F. Siping does help a lot though and softens the tread up a bit. I just siped the center lugs about 1/4" apart. Huge improvement on cold/wet...

    BFG A/T vs km2

Sure, the A/T will be better on packed snow or snow covered roads. It is a winter rated tire after all. But I've had KM2s on my crew cab f150 and now on my four door Jeep. No complaints with either in snow or ice, and they work better in snow and ice than other mud terrains I've had. I lived...

2012 Jeep JK Unlimited Freedom Top - Factory Painted White (Oregon)

I'm selling my factory white painted hard top off of my 2012 JK Unlimited (4 door). The top is in great condition, removed once, garage kept with 7900 miles on the Jeep. Factory tinted windows, rear defroster and wiper. Freedom panel bag is included. Some have shown interest in swapping for...

Four Wheel Campers will be in Portland this Week/Weekend

Stopped in this morning to have a look, you guys had some nice looking campers! I was surprised how much cleaner they looked since I last saw them at a show some 4-5 years ago. The dinette option was a lot more comfortable and workable than I expected. I started regretting selling my pickup...

    Travel Lite 890RX

I had a 700std that I bought new, though it had the 1" frame instead of 2". It was decently built but poorly insulated for cold weather. Typical wood and staple construction. Check for rot, check the seals and the roof.

    Heavy duty shocks

Loved the bilsteins on my ranger, on my f150 with 35s hauling a cabover camper and on my jeep. That's my recommendation!

Newbie asks: departure angle vs. breakover angle

I'm not going to back into a lot of what I already said, but having a lot of weight behind the axle will create several issues. Weight distribution really is everything and wheel base should be secondary in my opinion. But center of gravity should be correct for the chassis by design of the...

    Tonneau cover recomendation . . .

You'd have to look at a bakflip cover in person I guess if clearance is that close. I doubt it would be an issue. Normally the tailgate opening is a couple inches narrower (I think that's a word) than the bed rails by several inches. The rails for the bakflip did not stick out (in) past the...

    Widest JK fenders?

Check out Teraflex aliminum rock sliders. They run from fender to fender and stick out nearly as far as stock fenders do. They should be a huge help in keeping the sides clean. My factory painted fenders and door hinges are in terrible shape with 7k miles and 35" KM2s. Eventually I'll be...

    Tonneau cover recomendation . . .

I had the g2, picked it up used for $250. The side rails were very small, I want to say the only came into the bed 1/2" at most.

    Tonneau cover recomendation . . .

Look at the bakflip covers, I had one on my f150 and it was perfect. No interference with the camper, easy on/easy off with no tools. I would buy one again (if I still had a truck). http://www.bakfliptonneaucover.com/

Newbie asks: departure angle vs. breakover angle

I've having a hard time understanding what you're trying to do. Are you trying to build a longer bed? Or are you going to build a permanent camper back on the frame? I'm just thinking out loud but... If you're building a camper on the frame, think more about weight distribution. I think...

    Slider/ Rocker Panel Protection for a 2010 F-250

Just find a local fabricator and have them make something solid. I'm sure there are plenty good fabricators in the area. You might want to ask around some real 4x4 forums for fabricators. Once you find a fabricator you like, you can determine how you want them to mount (weld or bolt on), how...

    Ursa Minor Pop-Top Jeep JK

It was hugely helpful for me to see both in person, see how they open and close, set up time, crawl around each and imagine how I'll use it. I was 95% sure I wanted the habitat vs the J30 until I saw both. The space of the habitat is amazing but to me it was a lot more setup/breakdown, it's...

    JK outfitters in North America?

I agree with this, both good companies who specialize in this type of thing.
