    AEV 2.5" lift install

The spacers didn't seem to leak, and did give more clearance. But with the frame on jack stands, the driveshaft was pushing on the y pipe still as the axle drooped. Maybe if you drove really easy it would be okay for a while, but eventually would tear it up. Maybe they've made the spacers...

    AEV 2.5" lift install

Nope. Exhaust spacers are not enough to clear the driveshaft with the AEV 3.5" lift. If you don't believe me I would be happy to sell you some barely used teraflex exhaust spacers I have in the basement. I ended up with an AFE y pipe. It clears but the product fitment is terrible as is...

Progressive sprigs and quality shocks. Heavy duty track bars wouldn't hurt either.

    wanting to change tires

The Toyos are stiff tires, especially if they are e rated. But my 35" km2s ride great (d rated) at 26-28psi. The bfg AT does not ride any better than the KM2 if that is your main concern. How much psi are you running in the toyos?

What did you do to your Expo Jeep today?

I didn't wait until I had death wobble either. I too prefer to upgrade before it becomes a problem, though after I dug around more I am surprised I didn't have it. I did get a couple of oscillations hitting potholes while turning but never a full on death wobble. Now I've got the front axle...

What did you do to your Expo Jeep today?

Yes you're reading that right. I'm not sure I fully flexed the front since the synergy parts install (for the purpose of checking clearance), but I'd be surprised if it didn't fully compress when I went out a few weeks ago and wheeled with the sway bar disconnected. No marks on the track bar...

What did you do to your Expo Jeep today?

Does it pull to the left now? I keep thinking about getting rid of the OME stabilizer but its strictly because of aesthetics so I'll probably never so it... Lol. Maybe ill cover it in black vinyl or something, tired of seeing the big yellow damper under there.

What did you do to your Expo Jeep today?

The track bar and frame side track bar mount is the most common problem. The bolts are sized incorrectly and threaded the full length where they should be shouldered. This creates slop for two reasons, once you get death wobble once or twice the mounting holes get wallowed out and it's even...

Official: 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Diesel

That's one way to read it. I think any of the manufacturers CAN make a diesel meeting standards, the point is it becomes very expensive, less reliable, less efficient and diesel is still more expensive. So in a way, the EPA and emission standards have everything to do with it. Not impossible...

Denver ISE Show is this week/weekend !

Sweet! It will be another reason to regret selling my f150 anyway I suppose! I have a hard time passing by a ford dealership with a raptor out front whenever I drive by in my money pit, I mean jeep.

Official: 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Diesel

Our emissions standards on diesels requires a lot of additional equipment, diesel particulate filters, urea injection etc etc and normally have lower output/higher consumption. More complexity with this stuff, variable geometry turbos, high pressure fuel pumps and poor diesel lubricity all mean...

Denver ISE Show is this week/weekend !

Are you guys going to be at the Sportsmen show in Portland in early February? My schedule hasn't allowed me time off to make it to any shows like that in a long time!

What's new at Coyote RV/Phoenix Pop up?

I'm not a fan of the graphics either but the rest looks great. After having a VW van I really miss small campers with a pass through. If I wasn't working on making a kid I think I would have built a 95-96 Bronco and worked up something similar.

    Required Parts for Expedition Jk

The synergy track bar and brace doesn't interfere, and made a huge improvement on steering feel and response. I think it was around $400 for the parts and very much worth it. The tie rod and ball joints were a big help too, though it was around $575 for those parts. I wasn't sure the pintler...

    Required Parts for Expedition Jk

Unfortunately I really don't have any recommendations for work. I bought several items from northridge4x4, some things from pol performance, and installed everything myself. I'm running the 3.5" AEV lift, AFE exhaust y pipe, tom woods front drive shaft, synergy track bar and frame side track...

    Required Parts for Expedition Jk

I keep a bunch of tools but currently no spares. I've been slowly trying to upgrade a lot of known week parts. But I could easily throw in spare u joints, and pick up a spare synergy tie rod end I suppose? I have upgraded tie rod, track bar, sector shaft brace, sleeved and gusseted the front...

    Front Runner JKU Overland Rig

Unless you have ongoing email with them, it's not a fair judgment of their customer service. Emails often get lost or trapped in spam filters, etc. If you call and make contact and they don't get back, that's another thing.

    Post Pic's of your Jeep

Haven't had a chance to do much with it this month, only home for 9 days in a six and a half week period... :( I ran up mount hood to play in the snow for a few minutes the other day though. New synergy track bar, tie rod, ball joints and frame side track bar/sector shaft brace has made a...

    AEV 2.5" lift install

Sounds like AEV instruction still suck. The big fat washers should go on the lower control arm bolts, axle end. They are cam eliminator washers, notice how the factory bolts to through an oversized square hole. Are the extra bolts both m14? I believe the frame side track bar bolt is on the...
