    *Rickashay's 04' Tundra* - A build of Compromises

On another note, I've been working on some video lately. It's mostly my Lexus but trying to get used to motion pictures instead of the stills I'm so accustomed to. Keep in mind no Post has been performed with After Effects, that will have to wait for my next attempt. Enjoy...

    *Rickashay's 04' Tundra* - A build of Compromises

Very true, but sliders to me are more important than anything at this point. It just sucks that there are no options available for these trucks so if I'm going to get sliders built, I'm going to get a front bumper and skids at the same time to make the trip to the coast worth while. Pulling...

    *Rickashay's 04' Tundra* - A build of Compromises

Negative. I had to fly down to Houston for work last Sat. and I just got home late last night. Should be in the garage this weekend though. Thanks for stopping in! I'm having some "first-world-problems" with my build right now. Cant decide if I want to throw some money into gears and lockers...

    Switcheroo - 1 Bored Clerk's 2013 Tacoma Build

Awesome build thread. I've seen it bumped several time and just never clicked on it until now. I too went to Moab for my first time this year and actually sheered a rear brake line on TOTW. I was trying a difficult line when a rock rolled out under my rear axle, when the truck came backwards...

    seanpistol's 01 Tundra

Beating me to the punch! I can't believe how much bigger that rear area looks without the seats in there. I need to cram my ARB 47L fridge back there AND have room for my dogs. The seats gotta go... Thanks for the sneak peak at the area though, gives me a lot of good ideas! The sliders turned...

All-Pro Offroad Apex series ALUMINUM front bumper

I second this. Although I'm not down for SUA...can't lose the clearance. Just an Expo pack like the 2nd Gen Taco's have would be a Godsend. Hell, I'll take an aluminum bumper and full set of skids while they are at it. Oh and a +2" LT so I don't have to run glass. Please and thank you.

    2004 Lexus GX470.....Icon's, 34's....more to come

Thats a pretty awesome GX. Don't see them modded too often. Tires are not too big.... is that even possible?

    *Rickashay's 04' Tundra* - A build of Compromises

I'll let you know what I find. On a side note that is completely unrelated to my build thread, myself and a few other Albertans have been coordinating a new website/offroad group. Open to all makes and models, check out the main page to get some more info and hopefully hit the trails with us...

    *Rickashay's 04' Tundra* - A build of Compromises

Yah I've checked that link out before. Which is how I came to the conclusion that I MIGHT have 4.10's. The only thing that makes me still unsure is that my diff is definitely an LSD. It has the "LSD" Toyota markings near the fill plug hole. It would hold true regarding power though... how do...

    *Rickashay's 04' Tundra* - A build of Compromises

A03B is my diff code. I've been scouring the net but keep finding conflicting info. Maybe you have seen reference to this number before in your Tundra forum browsings....

    *Rickashay's 04' Tundra* - A build of Compromises

Fair enough. I don't know about the gearing though.... Canadian spec Toyotas often have a slightly higher gear range (or option of). For example, most 3rd Gen 4Runners came with 4.10's as stock gears, especially the SR5's. Here in Canada, every one I've ever seen came with 4.30's despite the...

    *Rickashay's 04' Tundra* - A build of Compromises

Thanks, I appreciate it guys. I dunno, I checked with my GPS anyway and was 10% out everytime. Would gearing affect this? I'm still not sure if I've got 3.9's or 4.1's. I have rubbed a little on the fender liner while turning and compressed, but thats simply because the inner liners near...

    *Rickashay's 04' Tundra* - A build of Compromises

Update Installed the Wheelers Progressive AAL over the weekend along with the little brake proportioning bracket. Fairly straight forward install, soaked everything with PB a few hours in advance to let soak and all came off pretty easy. Biggest issue was getting my jack high enough to life the...

My 04' Tundra Mistress - Keep my LX or Build the Tundy

Well, I've already ventured past the point of no return. I see your reasoning and I guess it depends on what trails you do and your proximity to those trails. In my scenario highway travel is necessary to get to the local trails, and a LOT more highway driving is necessary to get me to some of...

The "yet to be named" tundra build

Awesome build! I've admittedly never seen it before and am very happy I stumbled upon it. I too would like to know the leaf pack number... I see "R75" on the pack in your photo. Most people run the G57, I may have to give Deaver a ring. How is the bedsides holding up with the RTT rack? Notice...

    *Rickashay's 04' Tundra* - A build of Compromises

Do it! I tried to take as many pictures as possible to try and give Tundra owners a better idea of what is needed for the tub. It's a lot of work though, took me two full days to cut/tub, a days worth of sealing and painting (with dry time), and a solid day and a half to re-mount everything and...
