Redarc SmartStart Battery Isolator (SBI12)
New in the box. This is probably the most popular battery isolator in Australia. 12V. 100A continuous, 400A Peak. Can combine (jump) both batteries with a push of a button (in-cabin).

Here's some info on the stock AHC pressure value.
And here is some info on replacing the springs with airbags. I know people have mixed feelings about airbags but thought I'd throw it out there.
Maybe a bug in the system upgrade. Anyway, here's more info on Brett's wife's 100. Also note, Brett previously had one of the nicest 70's in the US. Wish I could've added to my stable.

Yup, if you do go with different springs, you are going to have to play with the rear AHC sensor so that the shock damping is correct. And then adjust the front sensors accordingly being certain you have enough suspension down travel and proper rake.
It's kinda tricky and a brake pressure gauge...
Replace the torsion bars and the rear coils with the NON-AHC Land Cruiser 100 t-bars and coils and your load capacity will go up considerably. Cranking up the T-bar and using some small spring spacers in the rear will help but it sounds like you need more than that if you are 300kg's over.

In any case, this would be a major dollar swap. Tough to justify on an '05+ Taco that should have a perfectly good running engine. Maybe it would make sense in one that had an engine fire and was totaled out.
$100? Hmm, that is tough. I'd look into the PUMA 12V. I know it is $200 but one could separate the tank and sell that off and bring the cost down some. This compressor is rumored to have close ties to Extremeaire or MaxAir but I have not been able to compare them closely.
I respectfully disagree with all the above statements. Many if not all of the fridges that use the Danfoss BD35-F compressor can get down to 0 degrees and can operate at up to 30 degrees of an angle. This would include the National Luna, Waeco and Fridge Freeze compressors.
I think the 4.5" backspacing spec on the 80 series wheel is a rough estimate. It all depends on the width of the wheel flange. However, what is exact, it is a 16x8 wheel with zero offset. The wheel measures roughly 9" wide from the end of the wheel flanges and therefore 4.5" backspacing.
