    It is actually an aftermarket set of plastics that I purchased, used, from @akella on 'mud. I don't believe they are available. I'm 5'11+" and it is great–my friend is 6'3", and finds that it obscures his sight lines.

    There is a 1.5" gap between my awning and my RTT. But, the curve of the vehicle means that the water just hits the side of the truck and runs down harmlessly. I've never had a problem. I do generally try to place the truck windward, so it protects the awning side. A.

    I installed it on the side opposite the spare tire swing out, to avoid having to walk around it all the time.

    Depends on the climate, but I've found that I generally want my rig to be in the shade, while my panels are in the sun. So they must not be permanently attached.
