Really good commentary, thank you.
In our case, I'm 5'11: and my lady is 5'. But we live in a small downtown condo and thus *all* our gear lives in our truck, permanently. Including the heavy recovery gear. And she already must climb up into the back of the truck to get at just about anything...
That will work.
I'm not sure how important low-O2 really is in a space that has lots of gaps.
Now, why is that First Alert unit twice as expensive on Amazon.ca?!?!
Thanks for the link.

Hi All,
Has anyone seen a portable alarm to detect carbon monoxide gas and low-oxygen situations?
I'd like something to act as a backup when running heaters in semi-enclosed spaces.
Thanks,
A.
Waiting for a new RTT with a new mattress, can't wait to see the difference.
I'm always worried about latex and viscoelastic polyurethane foam's performance in sub-freezing temperatures. I might just have to "borrow" some from Walmart and give them a try.

In case anyone didn't know, Princess Auto has both styles:

I would like a rack that accomplishes two goals related to my use of a hard shell root top tent:
Is as low-profile/roof hugging as possible;
Protects the RTT as much as possible;
I do not want a rack with the RTT sitting "on top" of it, if that makes sense. Has anyone seen anything like this...
