ran into same issue in a county TX. Remember; regulation does not mean you have to use it... you just have to install it and be inspected.
But that being said..... there is power play sometimes going on with a person in the office who likes the power of "do what I say" rather the...
Id check air cleaner...... and also factor in change in altitude... oh.... and long sloooowww upgrades are often very not noticeable to eye or foot on pedal yet they affect mileage a heck a lot.
only speculating.. but would think the vent fan pulls smells OUT of the toilet and up to your nose..... before it exits out the vent. For that reason would assume once you put in the vent connected straight to the box holding poo bucket...... you will have ZERO smells for it will then be...

any more information on this...... never seen a freightliner front spring bushings..... didn't know that even existed.... or is that retrofitted spring bushings from another part of a freightliner not ambo related?
12+ pages of discussion on that topic....... https://www.solarpaneltalk.com/forum/solar/solar-energy-facts/18035-water-cooled-solar-panels-for-significant-output-boost
that being said..... they make cheap solar pool heaters that are essentially tube passages in a plastic blanket ... wonder if...
way too much. I doubt it was the magnification that helped from the rain water anyway. It was most likely the bouncing of light onto the cells from so many directions via the curvature of the raindrops. This put more sunlight in more places. Also probably helped a lot that the losses due to...
updated my post above (#24 or https://www.expeditionportal.com/forum/threads/high-output-solar-panels.196050/post-2505756 ). Adds points about issue with awning and opening entry door, vertical storage doors etc.
one issue with that is you can not open door till you tilt up the awning..... and for my set up..... that would be no go cause I got at least two vertical doors on each side could not open with out lifting awning up (former ambulance box). Also awning mount would have to sit high enough to open...
interesing..... looks like one could fab up their own like the one in video with pvc pipe.
why would the chain style not work horizontally? granted you would need something to recoil the chain back up hmmm... pull start lawnmower mechanism?
hmm..... now where have I heard that idea before lol.
Was pretty sure I was not alone in this idea .... ain't no way I am actually smarter than million other people..That is how Im doing it..... 1000w total. two on cab at angle so they also act as wind deflector, and two shelves of 4 on Ambo...
actually a good number of folk have done it without issue. They are members in here too. It is just like a house frame, but aluminum square tube instead of 2x4's. Principles are the same. Weld in a good redesign of the framing in the ceiling structure and your fine.
interesting and very cool. Everyone has their own priorities though. At that price think I'd boil and condense it....... then use the uv-water filter system if one has already installed one. Mostly cause 5grand can pay for a lot of fueled adventures that go nowhere near salt water.
Still...
to each his own
1. drastically reduces size of tanks needed for water, grey and black tanks. Less fuel cost to haul those full tanks around.
2. extend boondocking - building with an eye on shtf..... though pretty sure it would never happen... going that route will extend boondocking as well...
uncharted waters.... no clue. old rv's long ago had a system that sprayed into the exhaust but it got axed by environmentalist... or by smell? think it was also black waste too though
for just grey for steaming off on/or in exhaust I would look into a cyclonic type filter...
sounds logical to me. I too will not use a black "toilet" tank. do remember though kitchen sink in houses in many county consider that water waste; black, cause of bacteria that grows from food particles. Which makes a little since. I think newer rv's are now sending kitchen sink to black...
consider reducing grey water by misting it on a hot plate mounted on exhaust pipe somewhere. Let it steam off. This will sterilize it as well so your not releasing bacteria and harming man or nature
