Lithia is based in OR and just purchased our local family dealer 2yrs ago. They just held their grand opening of the 10million dollar new facility last month.
My 60,000 mile cvt drain fill with front and rear diff service at this facility was $180 cvt drain fill and diffs were $80 total. Done...
Both our Subarus improved mileage up till about 25,000 miles from that point on it was 100% predictable. My old one started to see a slight mileage drop around 170,000 miles.
Our 2010 typically sees 1-2 trips a yr we run 500-530miles per 16gallon tank. Its really nice driving right by the high...
No it wouldnt. We have the modern larger OB and Grandma has the Xtrek the seating and gear space is dramatic. The crosstrek is a one man expo vehicle or small around town local family hauler. The OB fits a family of 4 with plenty of room for gear. Huge difference.
Dan I doubt anyone will publicly write about this. Various entities have started going after businesses and individuals who supply the parts and how-to to circumvent Federally mandated Emmisions equipment. But it does seem to be far less of a advantage on newer rigs vs the early yrs.
I figured they would race one soon. Will be interesting to see how the shocks do. The new updated 8 spd has a solid reputation better than the old 6spd. The new V6 will be interesting to see how it does also.
My 8yr old just started playing Tour guide via researching points of interest on the Ipad enroute. Course mom/dad instigate the research with carefully hinted / comments which she then digs into.
The last few summers we do 6-9 day big trip end of June, then roll back into town on the 2-3rd of...
In our area the once independent Subaru dealers who were fair on service fees and reasonable on sales prices are gone. All bought up by huge Auto Groups and had multimillion dollar palaces built where once simple and effective small family dealers sat. As such there arent very many Subaru...
I went from a 01 GT 5sp Legacy that towed my trailers and did lots of dirt. 180,000 miles 12yrs. I was going to replace it with the new OB 6spd manual. My 01 was throttle cable from pedal to intake. The new cars are electronically governed. The New manuals suck!!! Where my 01 would snap too and...
High centering your stock truck on a rock covered in water isnt a truck fail. Its a operator fail.
35-37 tires are Rubicon territory on midsized rigs which are all highly modified one way or another. Any midsized rig running 35's is either just a poser driving around town or someone who suffers...
Scuba gear is heavy and space consuming. 6ft bed and full sized which means you have the biggest pool of used vehicles to choose from. I honestly dont know why people buy new full sized trucks today? My uncle picked up grandpas really nice 98 gmc 2500 4x4 z1 with no joke 32,000 miles on it. He...
I have a 2010 OB its my daily, we also use it on short camping trips. Rear seat is big for a car that size.
My only caution is load weight limits. Its easy to find your self hitting the bump stops. Also big caution, the cvt transmission is good and had a 100k 10yr Subaru warranty recently...
