As far as I can tell whoever wrote the review just didn't know how to read. All the info is in the ad, and according to the ad when the slides are used in a standard drawer configuration they're good for 400#. IOW, when the slides are attached to the side of a drawer, just like in your...
On the filter thing. I drank the K&N koolaid on my last truck, a tuned 550 HP diesel. Had to have all that "flow" so the engine could breath so I could make that power! Did it flow better? Dunno. Did it make any difference? Not a bit as far as I could tell. The truck had one of those...
You hack the snot out of the fenders.
What I want to know is how you bolt on 46" tires without compromising the suspension and handling? Not that I'd care too much because it is wicked cool.
Somebody PLEASE help me design some kind of graphics for this thing. I am at a complete loss. Just thinking about it makes me go cross-eyed and start drooling.

Who did you source your steering box from? I checked the usual places for one already plumbed but no one listed a box for the E-series. Trucks and Jeeps out the wahzoo, but no love for the vans.
For carbs I can second both the Weber and the 2100 series, with the 2150 taking a slight nod because of the altitude compensator. Having said that and run both I can still say the Howell is the way to go. Heat soak and vapor lock were slight issues with the 2150 on my V8, along with some other...
My Ambo runs around 10.5K in everyday config. Two years ago going the Expo East I had some overheating issues in the last 2 major mountain passes getting there, but these were long and steep. I'm running 37" tires and I "think" I might have still been running the 4.10 gears but I can't...
If you've got a good solid engine that has miles left to go and you plan to keep, I wouldn't bother upgrading anything beyond a functional tuneup and would save my money for something like a Howell fuel injection system. It is probably the best fuel system bang for the buck you can buy.
When it comes to lights, brake or otherwise, open circuits can sometimes cause as much trouble as shorts. Iffy grounds can be another problem. Generally these things when they "suddenly" appear can be chased back to the last thing you mucked with, just as you found.
Shoot, I thought my recentered H1s were ridonkulous! I've bought vehicles for less money than one of those rims. Recently! Hehe. Guessing it's going to look righteous though when it's done.
