Is the roof panel a positive to make a mold from? If it is, you really meed to add 2 or 3 inches in height to it, you will never get glass to lay nicely against the table, It will be some much easier to do if taller.
Also light weight drywall filler is you friend, the stuff made by red devil is...
I have a build thread, with lots of pics.

Okay, couple of minor things and two bigger items.
The big items where I installed the diamond plate on the front to save the fiberglass from rocks. Part of that is also a bracket that my table slides down into. For now the table will be visible, but at some point the box That I need to make...
Okay so I took the trailer to the dump to weigh it. Right now the water tank is empty, so thats 200 lbs or so of water, but I have 100 lbs of sand next to the water tank to compensate for that some. Also I have a spare strapped to the tongue which wont be there, but there will be some weight...
I know they say no welding on the tube, so no clue.
I would assume if you cut it with a saw and then bolted it together it might work but I would not trust it
Yes its not done, and my tongue weight is currently a little light but the water tank ( 25 gallons in front of the axle ) was empty and I am not done with all the stuff that goes on the tongue. I basically ratchet strapped a spare to the tongue, but it will get a box, the propane, and a table up...
Dexter axle can down rate them. My 3500 lb axles are set at 2200 lb. I am not sure how far down the 7k axle can go, give them a call.
Timbren can also put lower rated rubber in them, but I am not sure what axles they can do this to.
Just use actuators. Just figure out how high you want to lift em. Then buy ones that lift that much. The ones I bought cost 65 bucks and are rated outdoors.
That design while at first I was great idea, after looking at it, it will still cause binding. Equal lengths arms at different angles are going to cause end to pull and the other end to push on the vertical tubes and it will bind.
But I will say it wont bind as much as a fixed anchor point. (...
If your going 5x9 bump the height to 4'6". It wont add much except comfort inside. Heck if your getting a new axle ( torsion axle only ) you can even lower the frame a little and still have close to the same over all height from the ground.
Thanks. The "floor" area is 4 by 5 and there will be a 4 foot seat across the drivers side that half will lift to become a table, so one end will be a seat the other seat will be the bed frame with a small table in the middle. Basically a seat version of you typical trailer table/bed, the floor...
Andy go back to the first page and look up the video I posted. Go to that guys you tube channel and watch his build videos.
He basically just screwed the whole thing together then coated it with fiberglass, it is heavy, but solid.
If I was building for rough off road I would do the skeleton...
Well I put the mattress in the trailer today. My older tuft and needle king size cut down to a queen, and a water proof mattress cover on it. The mattress cover is actually perfect, the top zips off so it will be easy to take off and wash. I dont know that I need a 10 inch mattress in a large...
I have never done it, but from what I have read here those who try to make it lift just by hand, cant. To much binding with just 1 person lifting, actuators are not that pricey, be it gas or electric.
