What is your budget, and what years are you looking at? There is enough variation between years of both vehicles that it will be significant factor. How many people/kids are you needing room for?

    Help a newbie - 4Runner v. Cruiser

I don't think that a 100 series Land cruiser can go anywhere an 05 4runner can't. It is bigger, heavier, wider, and still IFS. What Mods do you have on the 4runner? An 80 series would give you a more capable rig stock, is cheaper, and would free up some cash for mods. What is it about the...

Roof rack wiring for 95 series.

Dunno about the Prado, but on an 80 I would run everything through the wiring grommet for the rear hatch, then up the rack. I would avoid drilling the roof at all costs. Do the Prados have vents behind the rear windows? If so, you can route things through there too. Also, If you have a stock...

    Mr. Leary's 80 Series

See the cupholder thread on Mud. The cleanest look for the front is the Disco Cup Holder. For the rear seats, I went with cup holders/trays that hang off the back of the front seats. They work very well.

    Mr. Leary's 80 Series

Nice Looking Rig. You got one of the super rare "manual seats with lockers" Cruisers. Not easy to find. If you want power seats, there is a guy on mud looking for the manual ones.

    Mr. Leary's 80 Series

You have a case of the Cruiser lean. While you are ordering the suspension, you should also order a few 10mm and or 20mm trim packers. It will probably lean with the new suspension too. Embrace the lean...

    advice on 60 series

The 60 will never be a great Highway cruiser, but they do pretty good. Finding out which diesel engine it has will be key. Some of the B diesels are pretty gutless, while other options run pretty well. Reliability should be excellent, but look for rust around the wheel wells and on the rear gate.

    1994 Land Cruiser

You just have to pull the the rear shaft... 4 bolts and a piece of wire to tie it up out of the way.

I am planning on going with the integrated hitch for more clearance.... Right now the hitch keeps my bumper off the rocks, so no complaints from me...

    Mr. Leary's 80 Series

Like I said, I run the 285s on stock gears and I use the 80 for a bad weather commuter on I95 in Northern VA. It gets down the road just fine. You will have a rear bumper/tire carrier and a sub tank for extra weight, but you should be just fine. You might take a look at the 255s as well as...

    1994 Land Cruiser

You will easily spend more on the 2wd kit and labor than you will save on gas unless you drive it for a long long time.

    FJ80 header down pipes?

The Y pipe is in between the headers and the cats. You absolutely do have an on board diagnostic system and you are absolutely throwing a code.;) Connect a paper clip between pins E1 and TE1 on your diagnostic connector (located in the engine bay, on the firewall, passenger side) turn on the...

    FJ80 header down pipes?

I have a leak on my Y pipe, but it doesn't trigger my MIL. You probably need a new set of O2 sensors. In the meantime, get some muffler weld, (I have it on my truck too) patch everything up, reset the codes and take it down to the shop to see how it does.

    Mr. Leary's 80 Series

Unless the Mrs is an amazon, she will have an easier time with the 33s. I would also add the slee step sliders or a comparable homebrew slider system. The pulling to the right may just be tire pressure. If you don't have birf soup, there is no reason to tear everything apart. Just add grease...
