255/60-19 Toyo AT3, or the Goodyears if you’re a fan. I’m not. You can get duratracs or adventures in 255/55-19 or 255/65-19. Not sure how the 65s will fit on the 322 (I’m sure just fine) but 60 is only 1” bigger than stock, that’s nbd.
You can fit LR3/4 19s on it just fine. I’ve been airing down my stock LR4 tires to about 20 on the beach without problems, will be going to 255/60-19 AT3s soon, you can run those as well.
This conversation is silly bc you can find 35s without a lift. Arctic trucks fit 34s easily. Start trimming plastic and call it a day.
The subframe lift is boss, but unnecessary.
another guy watching for the squadron install. I put some sylvania yellow bulbs on there, but they don't put out as much light as the fogs in my silverado did.
I can't remember if I had to lower the fuel tank or not (I had to do it for another project, its easy and can be done by one person if its nearly empty). I did do it all in my driveway in an afternoon. For U bolts, I recommend picking up a ruffstuff axle swap kit with real u bolts and plates...
Looks good so far!
I had deaver AALs on my 05. You’re gonna want more payload than you’d get with the full deaver packs. Pick up a set of new 2500 leaf packs from whatever online or local shop, pop out the overload spring and then add the deaver AAL in its place without the “zero rate” stacks...
Not worth the money for 5 wheels, and then I’m probably ending up with heavy load range E tires. Truck sees 90% pavement. The Aussie forums say the 19s are good to 12-15 psi... I probably just need to adjust my performance expectations.
I don’t have either, yet. I’m going with GAP since it is a code reader first and suspension tricker second. I don’t “need” the LLAMS... yet. Which is a nice on demand fast height adjustment.
My experience with Cooper AT3s is that the sidewalls are weak and the on road traction is so-so. Off road traction both wet and dry was as good as BFG AT KO2s. Noise was similar. I would go BFG over the Cooper all day. I am always impressed with them, even back in the day when they were still...
