No phone access..
18 seeds...I can't call him as I'm still stuck in Iraq. Don't have phone access on my side of the FOB and hard to make a stateside call with work/time differences etc...
But we emailed back and forth a few times and he knows my situation. He agreed to hold it until I get back...
Calling Dan....!
Anybody have a contact for getting in touch w/Dan? I told him I would buy this but sent him a couple emails since and no reply...I think he may be off in the brush doing the camping thing but I'm not sure...? Hello! Dan...Are you out there!?! LOL!
Thanks guys...
I seem to be having multiple computer issues that are beyond my tiny understanding...But whatever.
I don't think I will dye them...it was just a passing thought. More likely, if anything..I would just get some seat covers. And I doubt I will ven do that. They are nice as is so...
Pics and a Q...
So I'm gonna try and upload the pics via my computer ineptness...Wish me luck. So I have two randumb(?) questions...
Since these are black/grey leather...and most of my hee...er, Jeep is Blue (yea 80s!) would it even be possible (or wise?) to have these dyed?
Also, since I ended...
Tony will get right on that...
* Don't worry..."Tony and Feep" are just a little confused between all the diesels they are making for Europe...somehow they must have oopsed and put the 3.8s badges on the 3.6....ahem...*:sombrero
great!
Thanks a bunch...I figured there must be something out there to do it but I guess my Google-seek words of choice failed me...Someone should make a dictionary of useful phrases used to seek...haha.
As to its use...I may have stumbled across some ex mil lights. A couple are LEDs and a...
This may be a dumb question to those that are good with electricity...I'm not one of those...
Is there anything that could be installed to a 12V battery to step the power up to 24V? Some kind of reverse inverter...? Uh...something?
Options...
I think it should be pretty straight forward. I may be able to remobe the female Nissan end that is part of the seat. The Jeep mounts its female one to the floor. Don't think it will be a huge hassle...and keeping it simple is the way to go.
I'm no expert...
First off, I've only dealt with a handful of torsion vehicles. But of all the ones I have ridden in that had the bars cranked up rode like...doodoo. Much like adding a longer shackle to a leaf spring only adds half the desired effect, the required amount of additional stress...
Please don't...
Don't crank up the torsion bars please. You will hate the ride as it will be rough and you have just induced way to much stress in an effort to gain a little lift. Imagine what happens if the retenstion bolt shears or the T-bar snaps...all that big tire will now be all in your...
Again the "option" alternative...
I've said this before so I will try not to repeat myself to much but I think this is a fairly blatent issue.
Petroleum based diesel is taxed excessively, still relys on a fossil fuel for its creation, and is fairly singular in its use.
Biodiesel on...
You want WHAT!?!
So what ever do you mean CF? What...You want a smaller Government? Hahaha...But then who would give out the free services to the non workers? Who would ensure you are put into a debt so large that your calculator can hardly show all the digits!?! And then who, while their poor...
Thanks guys...
Well,
I bite the bullet and ordered them. They are from an '03 and are Black and gray heated leather. They look real clean in the pics so this should be interesting...Not sure what I will do with the included rear set up but for 350 including shipping I couldn't resist. If...
Keep It coming...!
Thanks all! Good intel so far. I found a real nice set of heated leather ones for sale for not a pile of cash...and since the seats in my jeep are mis-matched...thought I could make it look better and get warm buns too...
