Go diesel or don't go... It looks like a rugged truck. Can carry in a far more utilitarian fashion than a more traditional heep, and will be better suited to the facets of a diesel. Long idling, creeping over rocks, power to pull grades and tow (even if only a little) without emptying the bank...

Better MPGs and a free workout... A manual will usually net more/better MPG returns IMHO. Plus its usually more durable, less length, and less expensive as an average. Not saying autos don't have their place...I think this with a manual 5 or 6sp is the hot ticket though. BTW, what is a YJ...

I like it. Since the power and more importantly the economy of these engines is well documented I like this as a swap option. And since these models are ALL OVER Europe and able to be imported to the US no hassle...it lends for some other buy in options. Sure its not cheap...nothing good ever...

my likes... I usually have a few of those little LED "squeezey" lights like what are usually sold at the checkout line. One LED and a watch batt in a triangular housing..Tough, cheap, brite, and last a long time + fits on a key chain or in a pocket no problem. Just have to get the ones that are...
