Tried out the BBQ on the porch for the first time this evening. I love the height adjustment. Getting the coals evenly heated is a little tricky and might take some practice.
Any concern about this melting the plastic part of the frame if used on the far left? I wouldn't think so, but asking in...
Seems campsites are more passenger side oriented. At least that's been my experience whether backing in or parking alongside in a one way loop. Really, I think it's just a mentality of having it on the "curbside".
I think one advantage of the 8' bed is that it opens a lot more options if the time comes where you want an upgrade to a slide in camper. I'm assuming you are referring to new models?
Yeah, the BBQ arrived today. It was an awesome deal. I'd been waiting for them to become available for quite some time so I really didn't expect to see any discounts out there.
If you need any lighting. Those National Luna LED lights equipt carries are pretty nice. I just installed one to use...
Might consider a Turbotent. Been pretty happy with it myself. The extras can be pricey and really hard to find though.
On the upside, you can occasionally score a good deal on ebay.

I would be interested in how much difference those improvements make. I have Toytec/eibach coils on Bilstein 5100's presently and it has always seemed a bit too soft for my liking.
I'm excited, my BBQ should be delivered tomorrow. I think I got the last one before they went on backorder. As for the Expo experience, I hope that isn't typical. This year will be my first time attending.
Looks like the single BBQ boxes are available again. I just scored mine for $143 shipped :D. Hope this is a good retailer as I have never used them previously.

I'd be tempted to do something like this with my 5x8 utility trailer. I think I'd rather build it lighter though. Perhaps using FRP for the skin, a lighter frame and teardrop style doors/windows. I currently have the equivalent of the white section of that photoshop picture above installed on...
I believe Frontrunner walls also work. I'm using Mombasa on mine. Most of these awnings are all the same rebranded item.

I rely on the A-pillar grab handle and step bars for entering and exiting my Tundra. Though, mostly because my back and knees have issues. My seats have a fair bit of wear, but I also have 180k on them. I'd really like to lose the step bars, add some sliders and reupholster the seat with new...
I doubt there's a viable option that won't drain the battery system faster than the solar can maintain it. I'm going to try a couple different ideas, but my goal is just to heat my topper shell while the engine is running. Should be good to warm things up before taking a nap (and hopefully...
