What sort of topper do you have from the T-100? Mines a white cab high model, but it's kind of in rough shape and tends to leak a lot.
I was interested in the caravan campers for a while but I was quoted over 6k for one with the right features.
I've tried numerous creative options for a fan and they really just haven't worked all that well. My fiberglass topper has typically been running upwards of 118 in the Colorado sun lately. I'd highly suggest spending the money on a Fan-Tastic RV vent. They have been highly praised by owners. I...
The Renogy 100w panel has been working great for me. I used a set of adhesive "feet" to mount the panel to my topper. They have held no problems well over a year now. I'm running the smallest ARB fridge off an Optima Yellowtop mounted in the bed. No issues going on two years straight with this...
I'd been wondering about cross-compatibility with these types of shells. If you ever do upgrade and want to sell I'd be glad to take it off your hands. :)
I have an ARB awning mounted to mine using a set of racks purchased from vantech. I keep an ARB fridge in the back running off an optima...
I never got around to checking with Paul's Canvas as the walls I ordered from Compact Camping Concepts have worked great. Unfortunately, it looks like they don't carry them anymore.
I installed my new assembly this week and tried it out yesterday when the inside vehicle temp showed 112°F while sitting in direct sunlight. The plumbing vent is mostly centered on the topper roof with the exhaust fan assembly bolted directly to the ceiling inside. My basic test showed the temp...
I love that rack setup and it's awesome that you guys are making stuff for the 1st gen Tundras. If I hadn't grown to really like my topper I'd be all over it. Maybe an over the shell version? :D
Here's what I'm attempting to work with presently: Atwood 3" Blower, 3" flex hose, 3" air duct mount.
It has decent airflow but not the most quiet at full speed. I had initially tested it using a battery in need of charge and it was whisper quiet, so I think a speed controller would be ideal...
Been there, done that. :D
Still thinking this idea might work best. I wouldn't have to be as concerned about weather and I could use some ducting and install a fan however I like.
I did some digging for this one. It looks to be the Ventline Vanair. It's a whole lot cheaper elsewhere, but I think think this one might take up too much headroom.
Temp's are rising, thread revival time! Anyone out there have further visuals of how they might have gone about this?
I have my truck topper all fixed up for use complete with ARB fridge, but I realized after last summer I really needed improved ventilation. I just have your basic cab-high...
I don't have a pic handy. But, I used six of these to install mine on a fiberglass topper with some dicor sealant around the edges. They have other options as well, but I haven't had any issues with the adhesive.
