To supercharge or not...that is the question...

All, I was wanting your insight into my latest conundrum regarding my 3gen 4runner. I have noticed that towing my Outlaner Sherpa II through Kansas is manageable, however, towing this through the Ozarks is a different story. The V6 just didn't have the muscle to power up the hills. So I have...

Dry bag / compressor bag recommendations

Have you considered Ziplocs? Jeepthreat, I used the Ziploc XL bags for elk hunting trips and they worked just fine ( 4 bags for $7). I laid on them to get all the air out and when compressed, I zipped it up. These bags have been used several years now and they still hold the air out. Hope...

    99 4runner with 140k?

Great rig... Our '98 4runner has been in our family for over 13 years...It's got about 158K miles on it so far. The things that have needed to be repaired are the things that have worn out...Seals, brakes resurfacing, AC pump, etc...This truck does not owe me anything...:smiley_drive: I say...

Outlander Trailer Sherpa II project...Dial-up beware!

Yes, theoretically... I would not put it past thieves to devise some sort of a 'plan' to steal...Trailer guy told me thieves would forego the hitch sometimes and just use tight chains to get it out of view... My hope is that the commotion along with the effort required to steal this would be...

Outlander Trailer Sherpa II project...Dial-up beware!

Custom Wheel lock... Finally, the Sherpa II wheel will be 'locked' using a custom wheel lock from Truck Trailer and Hitch of Kansas City. They were the ones that helped me out with the brake controller installation and wiring. If you ever need anything for your trailer, this is the place to...

Never thought of going underneath to be honest with you. I don't know how that poly water tank would hold up to trail carnage and the elements... Thanks for the kind words! Regards, BWJ
