If your LS is a 3.0l it will be a 9" rear. 3.5l is 9.5" rear.

Engineering re-certification by a DIY modified vehicle that you personally own isn't really needed in the USA.

propane kicks out a lot of water unless its externally vented forced air. Not sure about the little fireplaces. The diesel heaters do require 12V (or 24V) to run. Current prices are really cheap, ~$120 delivered on Amazon

I bought a used Edgestar (Whynter) FP430 around 8 years ago. No idea how old it was when I bought it. Has been plugged in either my vehicle or basement nearly 100% of my ownership time and has worked flawlessly.

Mitsubishi owns 15% of Jatco

Tough to prove without a tag stating manufacture, OEMs pretty much ended that in the 2000s. I know we don't label anything anymore for the OEMs. Could be that Jatco sources the shift solenoids from Aisin - nobody make everything these days.

That is going to be a rust belt vehicle as well.

Maybe its a terminology difference, but the auto 5 speed in my '05 is a Jatco (Nissan 75%, Mitsubishi 15%, Suzuki 10% ownership, ). Didn't know there was an Aisin (Toyota 51% ownership) 5 speed in any of the Gen 3s...
