Nice pics! Your rig is now looking really good with that camper shell on there. That is also a nice D-Cab.

    2WD Taco

The Matrix is sweet. I have outfitted several of them for kayak and canoe racks. If I was looking for an economical D.D. car that would be my first pic. SImple interior, tons of interior space, and good mileage. What I like about it the most is the galls on the rear door opens by itself. makes...

Looking to jump from Land Cruiser to Tacoma....

I'm pretty sure that all years of double cab up to '04 are the same. '05 and up are the bigger style. the big thing to decide is weather or not your looking for one with a TRD package. Chances are your going to upgrade suspension over factory even if you have the TRD package. You may find it...

I'd love to get one of those they look in top shape. Just wish I wasn't so far. Shipping would probably be more then the trailer.

Have you don't anything for your tacoma alternator?

Intereting...Ihave totaly submersed my fronet several times and never had a problem. Are they cleaning it thouroghly after wheeling. Maybe they are getting mud in there and not washing it off. I would say the only thing you could Is put some die electric grease in the harness. If you were to fab...

    Basic Tool List

A man after my own heart. One day I will have to lay everything out like that and take pics. It is truely amazing how much crap you can carry when it comes to repair and recovery equipment. I inventoried everything in my rig last week it was a sick list. I was trying to get handle on any...

    Cooking gear

HMMM looks good scott. My wife and I tend to pack no stick on trips. Since we do alot of canoe camping our Kitchen is really ythe same for all trips. One thing that is funny is when we lead multi day kayak trips and people laugh at our loaded canoe. Then when we get to camp and cook no one...

    6 speed manual vs automatic

Worst case scenario you can always push start a manual. Auto's will pull more and are "easier to drive" but are not as reliable due to all the parts and high heat build up. In the end it is personal preference. I look at it like this. Daily Drivers are auto since it is easier to battle...

    links to good bumpers

If your going to replace the rear bumper why not just replace it with one that has a towing reciever built into it. This way you can improve your departure angle and still tow.

    ome suspension

So last night I went down to my friends 4X shop to pick up my front suspension. and assenble my coil overs. I used their pneumatic spring compressor so the disassembly was quick. After about an hour and ahalf of trying to reassemble it, I had to call in some back up on the phone. I was stumped...

FJ cruiser mod and accessories thread

Hey one question. How are you adjusting to the lack of visability? I mean all around vis on a taco is good. After having test drove the FJ I was concerned about 360 visability for daily driving and trail. over my lft I could see nothing but pillars and over the right shoulder was not much...
