Well the water definetly can get hot. It is really a flow and convenience issue. They are hard to hang when full and do not put out much pressure. They definetly work though especially of your on a budget.

Well as funny as this sounds I have been using the frame version of that for about 2 years on all my rides. Not as simple as that since I have to crawl under and unscrew a cap and them screw on the drain tube but same basic effect. I have had no problems and it sems to work good.
