I've never heard of that brand. I used Meyle HD lowers and Meyle standard for everything else on the lr3 2 years ago. It's kind of a pain to really test if something is holding up super solid vs knowing easily when it's getting loose or way past it's prime. I will look into the MOOG.

I had a 2006 and actually loved it but would get a 200 now that they are available and the 2013 being in a really good value price point now is pretty appealing.

I like this idea. Just cover the whole top of the plastic fixture. I'll try to be more careful with mine because this sounds like a real PITA if it cracks. Honestly I've never read anywhere about anyone having water ingress in the hatch zone so I don't know if it's really all that "common".
