    Lr4 roof racks

I'm either very sound sensitive or you are loosing your hearing ;) ANYTHING on the roof will make noise, even Thule aero bars with no cargo box. To be honest, people often 'hear' in very different tone ranges. I am driven crazy by sounds other people can't even hear or didn't until i identify...

    Lr4 roof racks

This is old and i usually don't quote/repost photos but it's worth it here.... I had a safety devices steel rack on my disco 1 then onto the Disco 2 and also carried a ton of stuff but you just can't come on an lr3/4 thread making any sort of comparison! ;) -because those EIGHT gutter mount...

    LR4: anyone fitting 255/70/18?

Plus you don't need any dumb rods. I'll show you why and two better alternatives aside from the fact you don't truly need any with that tire size, it fits just fine.

    LR4: anyone fitting 255/70/18?

If you want to test fit the slightly larger 275/65-18, come on down to Tacoma area and we'll spend a little time test fitting a set I have using 25 or 30mm spacers, one of which should end up with similar offset as those wheels. I think I also have a used set of the 265 but not on wheels whereas...

Dodge Pro-master - limited tire size by frame/body!

This van with ladders was apparently not an "overland" build but the BFG TA KO2 got my attention. Then what really got my attention was the crazy tight tire to body clearance, and I don't mean just some superficial body cladding plastic junk. I poked around and found the body support metal to...

    LR3 Sway Bar Bushings

Atlantic British YouTube video made the rear look pretty easy. Less easy to deal with the control arms though!

    Lr4 roof racks

LOL I call BS on "no hint of wind noise" ;) maybe you are fine with it but every rack makes significant wind sound compared to an empty roof because the LR3 is actually pretty darn quiet in factory form. Some people just have a higher tolerance for what's very little vs annoyingly obvious even...

    LR3 Sway Bar Bushings

What bracket? I'm doing mine next week and the U shaped clams look like they'd be hard to damage enough to need replacing. Although I think on my bmw the aftermarket sway bars came with new ones maybe because of the big size change.

    LR3 Sway Bar Bushings

I like the approach of doing this smaller item first to see how much it alone affects the handling feel. Then LCA and the sway bar links etc

My Quest to Add a Long Range Fuel Tank To My LR4 Begins

You just have me an idea for alternate storage: simple dual or triple Jerry can cage mounted under there. It could be balance hinged to be easy pivoting drop to gain access ;) I'm pretty much joking but it would work You guys with proper steel bumpers need to realize it's way cheaper and...

My Quest to Add a Long Range Fuel Tank To My LR4 Begins

I cannot recall if my tank is LRA or Long Ranger but it's what ARB briefly brought in a few years ago. 108 L and when I've filled up from almost empty one time I got 52 gallons in total.

    Disco 3 (LR3) roll cage

Probably ought to remove the glass roof first... We should dig up roll over crash photos. I've seen many of Discovery 2 that weren't so nice but also pretty messed up recent modern G wagonsfr high speed shenanigans. I do wonder how the unibody would fare minus all the glass it would release...
