You're saying The billstein "OEM" standard is only $118? Mine weighs too much and I drive too much to not go with the higher quality 4600 series dampers but I understand .

Duh, obviously they have rights to yellow...but so does Old Man Emu brand ... ;) Ok, note the " ;) " and sarcasm. I always start with the direct company website for part numbers, then just google (anyone invest in google stock... ? Clearly a good choice) Anyway, I found them both on Amazon...

I think these dampers are the new thing about it. I have the rear dampers coming too but will slip them into the existing air springs.

Replaced front sway bushings and end links with the HD version from Britpart made by Meyle: For the ne difficult bolt others have mentioned, yeah, it's only accessible by a short narrow 18mm socket that is usually going to be non-impact due to smaller barrel. I used two different box...

Those probably have a lot of extra side wall material - right? Good of you to point out when the clearances get so close because the slightest difference can then make or break the plan.

New product from Proud Rhino! The SYA Off Road Extension Kit

Unless you're wanting to run larger than a 32" / 275/65-18, then you don't need the strut spacers anyway. I also do exactly what you're talking about by using the LLAMS to drop -20mm from access. On the 32" tires, and with my fender liner mods, I can drive around inside a parking garage just...

Me too because even with a 33-34, that would be just enough if you've also made a lot of other fender liner modifications.

LOL you removed the sway bars? Must handle like ******** on the highway ;).

    LR4: anyone fitting 255/70/18?

There are countless threads/posts already covering 20" choices with various data. Just use the search function or try a forum where people use 20's more often for even more info like "land rover world ". As you are probably aware, 20" wheels are not really a common thing in the overlanding...

    LR4 mud in rocker panels

I don't think a cross member runs past the main frame tube. I've had mine off many times and don't recall a place where that occurs. This is one design feature of my sliders that allows spraying in all along the top lip to flood the length of the slider which mostly just moves it around unless...

New product from Proud Rhino! The SYA Off Road Extension Kit

I am so sorry that I was so into getting it done that I completely forgot photos LOL That liner may come out again at some point to source a 2nd fuel tank topping off leak but not sure when. I can say this though, if you've removed yours, you'll see where a less intrusive route exists if you...

Be aware it's s 9" tread, not section which is a lot wider as per specs. As for less inflated,.. it's less tight then but also this is taken at tightest condition which is when strut is 100% fully extended and also with no weight on the tire - a fairly rare occasion.

    Lr4 roof racks

Yeah, girth is where it's at man LOL. Seriously though, the LR3 version is narrower. This being for Disvo2 with gutters and more of a square body is why it's wider than anything made for the LR3. The tent zipper only barely sits outside the rail when mounted this way. However, when it opens...

Traxide dual battery kit on LR4

I agree from experience since 1999 but in last 5 yrs years three have died / won't take charge from professional shop charging system. My Odessey's though have been flawless with the oldest one, a 2150, still near top spec 10 yrs on now!

No so Phat but 285/70-18 measuring exactly 34" & 9" tread width to be accurate. Just barely but clear with room for crud.
