    Compressor Mount

I could grab some photos for you as mine is exactly that, a factory tank which is easily mounted on USA passenger side using the factory mount points. I'm guessing this is because RHD builds swap several things which is why we still find redundancies left and right. My compressor is under the...

I got mine from an LR3 owner who was selling his so he parted out all the aftermarket stuff. I have talked with long ranger though about getting one for my D2 and they will ship here. I think I talked with the one who has the camel mascot. There are two companies with practically same name . 52...

Unacceptable, must be a solution... Yup, there is...a "malleable iron bevel washer - galvanized 5/8" very cool little item which made me so happy because I imagined it and then it was real and easy to get I'm very fortunate to have the corporate headquarters Tacoma Screw and Machine parts...

Yes both of these have a lot of space after you start digging. The LR3 is the most rewarding where 3rd row seats get removed.

Whole unit it right there. It's not a very big one so it just fit in there. I think I've only used it to charge the lap tops over the years. In hindsight it's not the most convenient location but it's not so bad and used space otherwise unlikely for anything else. In my disco 2 it's mounted...

My charger you asked about. 40amp triple. I wanted to be able to do both batteries simultaneously...and it was on sale ;) However, the higher end batteries really need high amp charging to properly manage them. It's been sitting all week with some lighting on a lot and I hadn't conditioned it...

Progress. Swing arm mounted added impact resistant foam to clamp contact points. Aligned stainless hardware, packed pivot grease. Spaced end caps off bumper with stainless washers instead of the supplied plastic gasket which I think held mositure contributing to rust.

Many years ago I thought I needed this Rover Hardware spare wheel mounting height booster. It's a nicely machined and finished block of aluminum. Never needed it until now LOL... It regained about 2" vertical which is not what I needed but what I did need was lateral relief from being too...

Thank you for the support guys! Notice that exhaust routing and silencer at the rear outlet. Magnaflow designed it stupidly to run straight out BELOW the stock fender edge with ridiculous dual tips so you can see them! Had those cut off and put a turn-down at the end tucked up above the...

Closer. Test fitting the clamp guides with new stainless M10 hardware. The old stuff was crap. Edited to add this progress view.

Tank is the Australian Longer Ranger. Using as supplied, dual neck works fine. Dash photo at factory lights switch shows the tank pump switch on left with approximate gauge. First photo with roof tent deployed and 'slammed' suspension is with Michelin M/S-2 275/65-18 which is a true/full 32" (I...

While bumper is off realized there's a better way for it to mount so as to use a single long bolt as opposed to the crazy wire fed bolts which rust badly and probably would be in forever had I not done this now. Originally the wire welded to bolt approach seemed cool as it did not require...

Fiberglass waffleboard bridging ladders tuck between sitting on factory rails and under Hannibal rack via custom made 1/4" thick aluminum track blocks tapped for threaded stainless rod screwed in from above, held by wing nut. Snugged 1/4 turn by a tool. ~1/4" gap between glass roof and ladders...

Refinishing time due to rust: Removed tire carrier which was in 50/50 condition, bumper itself was 90% rust free but the trim caps were 95% rust LOL. Only way to get them off was bumper too... can O worms as they say ;)

    Range Rover LR322

LOL dude, for an owner, you are posting some un-factual information ... A. There is no such thing as an "HSE -SC" as the SC models supersede HSE by including almost all options by default. These items, ventilated seats and differential locker were options on the HSE. B. ALL Land Rover LR3...

Yesterday completed latest addition of ASFIR differential guard. Finally installed ... after at least 10 test clamping trips under the vehicle and subsequent removal for roughly 30 stages of bending at 13 point locations. The ASFIR engineers didn't account for the future potential of enlarged...

Realizing I never started a proper "build thread", I'll begin it now as a 10 year anniversary thread. I'll update this first page soon with the basic full rundown which is usually where people make their 'wishlist' or plans. In this case, it'll mostly be 'done as such'. However, is the...
